I quit my job in 2019 because I was told to cold-call people; started working for myself and quickly realized I was not escaping sales any time soon lol For something I hated so much, I couldn’t seem to escape it. In fact, I hated sales so much, I spent the next 3 years building a framework that helped me actually enjoy the process - and that was just the start : ) It’s funny, but when you play your business like a game, it seems to make your life that much more fun 😎 I’m obsessed with this idea of Game Strategy - and before I go any further, you should know this is not a real thing. Just something I made it up along the way… But here’s the thing, I was seeing it EVERYWHERE. In the books I was reading, videos I was watching, conversations I was having. Literally. I realized that EVERYTHING is a game. Now, I’m a little bit further down the rabbit hole than you are (or ever need to be), so hear me out: Let’s start with your business -- your business is a game. One in which your clients, employees, partners, vendors, investors, and everyone else are all playing. They just don’t know it (and neither did you). So ask yourself: is my business a game worth playing?
