After graduating from the University of Washington, Brian spent 10 years working as a financial advisor in Chicago, on Wall Street in NYC, and in Seattle's financial district. In 2000, Brian was invited to be the Market Commentator for Q13 FOX News This Morning. From the studio the TV network built in his office, he reported live, daily for over 3 1/2 years. Credited with over 3,000 live TV appearances in Seattle and as far away as Washington DC, Brian reported to the 12 largest media market in the US during the biggest boom & bust in the history of the US stock market. In 2004, he sold his business and launched Shoewallet Active Gear. The Shoewallet has been featured on NBC's Today Show, CNN, NY1, and over 250 radio stations. It has also been featured in Shape magazine, Runner's World, Women's Day, and many other publications in the US and abroad. Shoewallet has produced private label Shoewallets for many different, global brands, including Boeing, The Department of Defense, Skechers, Southwest Airlines, UCLA, Virginia Tech University, Dunkin' Donuts, The US Air Force, Komen Foundation, John Hancock, The Boston Marathon, and many others in the US and Canada. In September 2010, Brian launched Pro Athlete Direct™, an Education-Based Marketing service that connected sharp pro athlete trusted advisors with sports agents to help pro athletes better manage their money for the short, mid & long term. Leveraging his 10 years of experience in finance, Pro Athlete Direct™ provided athletes with the resources and knowledge they need to make smart financial decisions now and in the future. Brian coached his private members who were trusted advisors based in the US to as far as Zurich, Switzerland. Member backgrounds ranged from former pro athletes from all major sports (including Super Bowl winners, MLB All-Stars, Olympic medalists) turned advisors, national team captains, DI champions, Barron's Top 100 advisors, Forbes Top Wealth Advisors, top producing realtors to sharp advisors & agents earlier in their careers & everyone in between.
