Overthinking can derail you.

Here's how to beat it:

1. Prepare - If you don't do your homework, you'll be anxious. Do it, and not overthinking will be easier.

2. Action - Develop a bias for action. It's almost impossible to overthink when you're actively doing something.

3. Discipline - You can discipline yourself to not go down the mental pathways that overthinking is sending you down.

Think till you're prepared, then let go.

That's the sweet spot.
