DREAMS DON’T HAVE DEADLINES…...


Not everyone would agree with my headline. But I do believe that dreams do not have deadlines.

We must never fail to dream. Why? Because dreams are the start of something bigger. Yes, not all dreams turn into reality, but we must firmly believe that our achievements start from that simple dream or idea that can gradually grow into something bigger and tangible.

Some dreams take a long time to grow and bloom, waiting for the right time. It may not be the perfect time, but just the one where courage finally outweighs your fear to start.

I recall the time when I decided to become my own boss. The timing was not perfect, but the situation forced me to embark on it. Despite the uncertainty, courage and the determination to succeed gave me the drive to make the best of the situation. 

Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I made.

Don’t give up on your own dreams. As they say, if you don’t try, you will never know. 

Sometimes, outside forces can be really discouraging. The world around us may tell us it’s too late and that the window has closed and that success has an expiration date. But no one decides that for you. There is no timer for your purpose or your passion.

Your dream may take longer, and the detours may be lessons pointing you in the right direction. But remain resolute, start over again and know that dreams don’t have deadlines – only beginnings.

A NEW WEEK, A NEW HOPE…….

This last week has again been a reminder for me that life is a test of resilience, hope and above all faith.

A few of my friends have been recently laid off unexpectedly. What is even more frightening and stressful is that they are the sole bread winners and have young children. 

The sad reality is that things are not as rosy as it is made out to be.

I feel for my friends and all those that are experiencing this situation. It is sometimes exceedingly difficult to look on the bright side of things. 

I know what it is like to be jobless. That sense of uncertainly coupled with a dent in your self-worth can be very disheartening. Although you may be feeling this way, it is important to have the right mindset. You must remain hopeful and resilient. 

As each of us step into a new week, let us carry a sense of quiet hope and gentle strength. No matter how bad or heavy the last week was, know that this new week offers a fresh start – a chance to begin again.

It is important to note that every little effort counts and every step, no matter how small moves you forward. Sometimes, it is in the small choices like that make all the difference.

I pray that we all will find moments of joy despite the situation. May we be supported by the people who care about us. May we keep the faith that the current challenges are shaping into something stronger and better for all of us.

Keep the faith and keep believing.
