Google doesn’t care if your content is written by a human or an AI—it cares whether it’s helpful, accurate, and aligned with user intent. To actually rank, your content needs to support business practices that Google encourages. That means publishing pages that fall into at least one of these categories: 1. Informational – answering questions, educating the reader 2. Navigational – helping users find what they’re looking for 3. Commercial – comparing products or services 4. Transactional – encouraging a direct action or purchase But ranking isn’t just about words on a page. Your internal linking strategy matters—it shows Google how your content is organized and which pages are most important. Embedding YouTube videos on the topic can increase engagement and time-on-page, both of which are signals of value. And don’t overlook your page speed and user experience (UX). If your site loads slowly or frustrates users, you’ll lose them—and Google pays attention to how people interact with your site. Bottom line: AI content can help, but only if it’s part of an intentional strategy that prioritizes user value. It needs to be relevant, consistent, and supported by a strong technical and structural foundation.
