I had a great family vacation last week in Udaipur, the views, food and experiences were just on point🤌🏻 After a very long time, I got a chance to have a restful week and spend quality time with my family. I slowed down, cherished every moment, explored various ways of having adventure & now it all becomes a part of my story that I can now share with people. Prioritising our overall well being is a key to a more productive and becoming a better human being. Hustling culture doesn't go a long way. Grind, put in the time & effort but also prioritise moments of rest. This year, I have made a goal for myself to travel to 4 new places at least, whether solo or with my family & glad I made one 😁
I believe life has a funny way of working itself out, but sometimes when we find ourselves in a very tiring energy or process, we might forget that everything is temporary. It's very easy to make bold decisions that are wrong when you're very emotional. But giving things time, helps us cut through the noise and move gracefully. 8 months back, when my mom passed away, I knew the coming months would be tough. But, I also told myself one thing, "I'll be fine" in fact, we all are going to be okay. We showed up each day, no matter how we felt emotionally & steadily we got back on our feet. Steadily, we became mentally and emotionally stable too. Grief doesn't go away, lower moments don't go away either, you just learn how to deal with them skillfully over time. If you're reading this, I want you to know don't give up on life and yourself too easily, no matter how hard the current moment is. Please find a reason to live for yourself and the ones you love. Cherish this one life, fulfill your potential and be of service. Sooner or later, you'll be exactly where you dreamed of. Keep moving forward 💪🏻
