I wasn't always a social butterfly, I became one. I grew up a quiet kid scared to speak with a speech impediment. Until I was 16, I changed schools and inadvertently changed my life forever. Ended up alone in class with just my English teacher on a snow day, He was the first person to notice my speech impediment and actually ask me about it. It took him one question to realize, he continued to listen, he genuinely cared, and he got me the help I needed. In my last year of high school, I went around at lunch with a pack of cards and talked to a lot of people. A few card games later I received the social butterfly award during prom, it sounds silly but I take pride in it. I learned that by opening up first, it helped others open up to me, and you can really help by listening. And that's what I did here, so feel free to open up, I promise I’ll listen. From then on I loved talking to different types of people and learning about what they do. That's what drove me into selling clothes, cellphone plans, internet, renovation services, and finally tech. Breaking into tech sales landed me a job at my dream company, they’re happy to let me be who I am. It wouldn't have been possible without LinkedIn or the content creators out there. I always wanted to be a content creator but never wanted to make videos, so LinkedIn is the perfect place. Content creators gave me inspiration and I want to give it to others, so that's why I post content.
