Enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability of commercial buildings by developing an Extensible Building Operating System (XBOS) for smart integration between building control systems. Releasing an open-source web platform to substantially reduce the effort for researchers to extract, clean, and visualize 100,000+ point labels from 92 different buildings. Clustering building metadata using semi-supervised machine learning and natural language processing techniques, expediting the metadata cleaning process
