Exactly 12 months ago today, I stopped going to the gym. It wasn’t a big decision. There was no dramatic moment. Life just… shifted. And working out quietly moved to the back burner. 2024 showed up with its own plans—injuries, personal losses, and intense professional pressures. There were beautiful moments, too—support from friends, unwavering love, deep gratitude—but there was no doubt this year tested me. And yet... I never removed the workout blocks from my calendar. Every day, they sat there like quiet reminders. Not as pressure, but as permission. - Permission to return when I was ready. - Permission to not hustle through pain or grief. - Permission to come back on my terms. I had an amazing conversation yesterday evening with someone I greatly admire and respect - and they asked me, what was I doing this week to prioritize myself. If I'm being honest, I didn't have anything planned. Today, I moved from reminder to action. I did my first workout in a year. And it felt like coming home to a part of myself I’d missed. Not because I needed to “get back to who I was”—but because I was finally ready to take this step forward in who I’m becoming. If you’ve been in a pause—whether in wellness, creativity, connection, or rest—here are 5 things that helped me and might help you: 💛 1. Leave the door open. If something matters to you, don’t pressure yourself to do it now. But don’t lock it away, either. Keep the space for it. You’ll know when you’re ready to return. 🌀 2. Trust the season. We all go through seasons of go and slow. Of showing up and stepping back. Growth still happens in quiet seasons—it just looks different. 📅 3. Visual reminders matter. Whether it’s a calendar block, a note on your mirror, or a journal on your desk, keep the visual cues of who you want to be. Let them gently guide you back. 🤝 4. Let others support you—even when they don’t know it. That one comment from a friend gave me a spark I didn’t realize I needed. You don’t have to walk your comeback road alone. ✨ 5. Redefine “progress.” Today wasn’t about PRs or goals. It was about movement. It was about honoring that I’m here, I’m healing, and I’m still going. That’s enough. If you’re in a “not yet” season… I see you. If you’re just starting again… I’m with you. If you’re thriving… I’m cheering for you. Here’s to the quiet pauses, the slow returns, and the strength it takes to begin again. 💪 #Growth #Resilience #ComebackSeason #MentalHealth #WellnessJourney #LeadershipWithHeart #PermissionToPause #ProgressNotPerfection

Growth is messy. It’s uncomfortable. It’s awkward. It’s like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without instructions— you know it’s going to be worth it, but there’s a solid chance you’ll question every decision along the way. 😅 But here’s the thing: If you’re never uncomfortable, you’re not growing. → That nervous excitement before a big opportunity? Growth. → The “Oh crap, can I really do this?” moment? Growth. → The willingness to try (even if you might fail)? Growth. The best things in life happen outside the bubble of familiar and safe. So, let’s embrace the discomfort, lean into the unknown, and step into the next version of who we’re meant to be. What’s one time you stepped outside your comfort zone and surprised yourself? Drop it below! #Growth #ComfortZone

Ever made a 12-step plan to change the world… but forgot to take out the recycling? ♻️😅 Same. Me either! LOL (ok, maybe a few times) Here’s the truth: You don’t need a whiteboard, 6-month roadmap, or color-coded sticky notes to make a difference. Sometimes the most meaningful impact comes from: 💛 Texting a friend just to say “I’m thinking of you” 🌯 Buying lunch for the person behind you in line 🧹 Taking 3 minutes to tidy the shared space everyone “forgets” 🐕 Saying “yes” to walking your partner’s dog (even when it’s raining sideways - or snowing lol) Big plans are great. But small, consistent action? THAT'S where the magic lives. Because at the end of the day, changing the world starts with showing up—for others, and for yourself. So go ahead, send the kind email. Hold the door. Leave the voice note. Be the person who does the thing. Planned greatness is inspiring. But done is delightful. 🙌 What’s one small thing someone did for you this week that made a big impact? Let’s give those moments some love. #MakingADifference #GoodDeeds #Choices #SmallDeeds #StartSmall
