According to the $21 Billion Dollar Man, there are only 3 ways to increase revenue:

1) Get More Customers

2) Increase the Average Ticket Sale

3) Increase the Frequency of Purchase

It is very simple, yet is NOT easy:

We in sales mostly focus on getting more customers.

Supposedly, being the simplest track to increase revenue.

But what happens when a client leaves?

How do we handle their departure?

What do we do about it?

Ask them why.

It will help us a lot to understand why our clients are leaving.


Sales reps spend ONLY about 30% of their week on tasks, that help them to sell

We should focus on Revenue Generating Activities:

1) Prospecting

- Spend 20-30% of your time prospecting
- Block time to be fully focused
- Do calling blocks

2) Moving your Deals

- Understand how you can move the deal forward on the pipeline
- Ask for internal help from your manager & team
- If a big prospect, ask for c-level help

3) Closing the Deals

- Understand in advance, who are in charge to make the decisions
- Have an "Objection Handling" framework and document
- Make sure all questions are answered, before pricing
