Super interesting research showing that it's still a wide open frontier for getting discovered via answer engines.

I analyzed 100k prompts across ChatGPT and Perplexity to see how much their sources overlap: only 11% of domain citations are shared between the two platforms. This means 89% of citations come from completely different domains depending on whether you ask ChatGPT or Perplexity the same exact question. This is an awesome manifestation of how minor infrastructural differences create massive citation and visibility deltas on a platform-by-platform basis: Perplexity uses vector-based indexing while ChatGPT relies on the Bing API. These are fundamentally different infrastructures pulling from completely different indexes. And the results being 89% different aren't shocking when you look at them with that context. I've got two takeaways here: (but please contribute your own thoughts in the comments) First, optimizing for AI search as a monolith is almost probably a mistake. These are fundamentally different systems with different source preferences, different citation logic, and different trust hierarchies. Second, if you're optimizing for AI search generically, you're probably invisible on at least one major platform. Optimizing for AI search means prioritizing platforms individually and building detailed strategies that compliment each model's infrastructure, behavior, and preferences. What's your take here, have you noticed different results when asking the same question across AI platforms? 👀
Why I love #vibecoding: I really don't. I was up so late last night reminding Claude Code what we talked about AND what I put in the requirements document in the directory it has access to. Access to every detail of my code base, tons of reasoning, yet I have to ask more than once for the command it said it would give me before changing topics. Still, I love that I can have a partner on demand. I wouldn't be doing any coding without it. And I have no idea how much revenue one app or workflow will generate, but the ROI is pretty hard to beat. #intelligentautomation #solopreneur #claudecode #agenticworkflows

“No press is bad press” …if your marketing team knows what they’re doing. Astronomer’s clearly does. Someone deserves a raise.
My client just exploded his social media engagement over 90% in minutes. He's active on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, mostly sharing livestreams and the occasional Q&A. His struggle was consistently building brand-level posts - the kind of strategic content that shows off his expertise. I built his intelligent social media system. Editorial agents generate topics from his knowledge base, so he doesn't need to think about whether he's missing any topics. Creative agents draft posts and graphics, so he's never staring at a blank screen with creative block. He reviews, edits, requests revisions, and schedules in just minutes. The result: July is completely booked with strategic content that positions him as the expert he already is. Engagement already skyrocketing. This is AI augmentation at work. We don't have to replace human creativity, we just need to give it a boost. By the way, if you know any business owners stuck on their social media game, send them my way - would be amazing to see their brand take off next week!

So much of LinkedIn and email for solopreneurs feels lazy. Quick search for "targets" -> cursory browsing of their profile -> dash off a connection message. Or worse, drop a list into Instantly and send off hundreds of emails hoping a few will get through. Meanwhile, AI isn't accountable for those messages - we are. For the longest time I refused to use those tools. When I did, it felt icky. But, frankly, the people using those tools at scale are having undeniable success. I'm open to different ideas, but this is what I came up with to solve the issue: human-in-the-loop automation. I can customize and sign off on every message so it doesn't feel soulless, but it's a whole lot faster than spending my own hours tracking down the connection points I'm looking for. DM me if you'd like to try it yourself. #intelligentautomation #solopreneur #scale
