Tired of fluff and jargon around positive psychology & mindfulness, I decided to write online. Hey there 👋 I dedicated the first decade of my career to being an engineer and a leader, and the second decade (current) to becoming a positive psychology and mindfulness expert — and being a better leader. Follow me for tips on mastering stress through no-fluff positive psychology and mindfulness, so you can lead, live, and love fully. — A little bit about me: How does a kid growing up in the underprivileged city of Baghdad – who taught himself how to speak English by studying the dictionary – make it to the leadership team of one of the world’s biggest corporations? ❗️Curiosity & Commitment This curiosity drove me from chemical engineering to the corporate world leading multiple roles in manufacturing, supply chain, innovation, strategy, and now sales as a director at P&G. It also guided me to becoming a certified peak performance coach through a solid 10-month program, and expand that into a masters degree in positive psychology and a semi-masters in mindfulness at Brown and UCSD - all while leading a full-time job. My journey in becoming my best version and learning what makes each one of us flourish has taught me this simple truth: If we strengthen our self-awareness, make choices in line with what we value, and build systems so these choices happen on auto-pilot, then: 👉 Every wall becomes a door 👉 We see challenges as opportunities 👉 And we transform stress into strength It’s a true and non-jargon way in moving from ‘zero-to-hero’ or ‘burnout-to-best ever’.
