Let me translate a few common phrases from “Linkedin-ese” 👀

1. “May I ask you a quick question?”
🧠 Translation: “I’m about to pitch you something, so please pretend to care.”

2. “I’m curious…”
🧠 Translation: “Are you ready to buy yet?”

3. “I love your content / podcast / newsletter / what you’re doing at [Company Name].”
🧠 Translation: “I’ve never read, watched, or listened to a single thing you’ve done. My AI sales tool told me to write this.”

4. “Do you have 15 minutes for a quick chat?”
🧠 Translation: “I need to practice my sales pitch while my AI software records and scores me.”

5. “I’m so excited to invite you to my free event called [Name].”
🧠 Translation: “It’s actually a live infomercial. Bring your wallet.”

6. “I’m curious why you connected with me.”
🧠 Translation: “What do you want from me?”

7. “How are you? Hope you’re doing well.”
🧠 Translation: “I have no idea what to say, but I was taught to open politely.”

LinkedIn Is Uncool Again — and I Love It

 0️⃣  Ad Copywriting/ Viral Video Scripting
Whether you produce newsletters or videos, you need to understand how to communicate for attention. And it is a real art. Study, study, study.

1️⃣ Grab Awareness
Learn how to use hooks to get discovered by the platform. Study what works and what doesn't. (Ex: On Substack, post 2–3 Notes a day minimum.)

2️⃣ Focus and Niche Down
If you’re talking about everything, people might read once… but they won’t subscribe.
If your goal is growth, niche down so your reader knows exactly why they’re here.

3️⃣ Content Consistency 24/7
Post rain or shine. There is no holiday.
Content is a business—it takes planning, production, and skill. Need help? There are plenty of agencies ready to assist you.

4️⃣ Call-to-Action, Always
Funny but true: people like to be told what to do.
Want subscribers? Ask them to subscribe.
Want clients? Tell them to book a call or download your guide.
Posting without CTAs = wasted effort.

🧭 Your job isn’t to collect readers.
It’s to design the journey that turns readers into clients.

At first, you won’t notice me—because I blend in.

But you’ll keep seeing me show up.

Asking questions.
Putting in the work.
Still standing when others have walked away.
And one day, you’ll look up and realize—
I made it to the finish line.

To anyone who’s ever felt less than, overlooked, or even like a failure—
I hope this reminds you that you don’t have to be number one to win: just keep going. 💪
