Ex-Founder | Growth | Ultra Runner | Writer From failed startups to scaling Truepush to 100B+ notifications monthly and 4,500+ customers worldwide, I've learned what it takes to build products people need and grow them relentlessly. I built Truepush from paper wireframes to becoming a top 10 global player in our category. At Alohaa.ai, I doubled sales within just 3 months and drove consistent month-over-month revenue growth. Beyond business, I push limits personally. I recently completed an 82.4km ultra run during a 12-hour stadium event. Mountains, travel, and nature are where I find liberation through both excitement and boredom. Learning obsessively fuels everything I do. I've devoured 313+ books, and continuously invest in courses (Mindvalley, MasterClass, Matt Gray, Justin Welsh, Reforge and more). When knowledge compounds with consistent execution, results follow: - Built a 25,000-person startup community across 3 cities - Published 250+ LinkedIn posts in 2024 alone - Recognized among the top 1% of mentors on Topmate.io - Created Solopreneur OS to help others identify market gaps and build growth systems All while maintaining 7 hours of sleep nightly, seeing friends regularly, and maintaining my unusual preference for vegetables over chocolate (though I love both). Want to build something great? Let's connect.

They say running a full marathon is hard (42.2km) They are right. But do you know what's harder than that? Running 82.2km in 12 hours The longer I trained for this ultra-run The more - I dug into the basics - Been more consistent Basically, it's the same basics for a 42.2km or 82.4km, just that there is really less room to screw up. - You can't half-ass your training - You need belief in the process - Training is the win, the Race is to collect the medal Noting builds your character like (any) sport will do, just that, it only builds there when you keep pushing your limits there. PS: Do you ever dream or running a full marathon distance? (42.2km)
Your genius can only be tapped by doing focused work daily, over an extended period of time Focused work = 2-4 hours/day Focused work = Needle moving work Extended period of time = months or years Otherwise, too, you can earn more and have a great life, but you aren't at your peak potential That's a choice to make
Humans are the smartest creatures on earth. We build focused bumbles and call them cities, we invent work, money, technology, etc. pollute the air, and water and litter the land & ocean. And then suffocate ourselves in it. While all the other dumb creatures roam around in while creating fresh air and living for free. Are we really smart?
Future belongs to - People who can create People who know what they want People who are curious People who can execute People who can take failures and leaps of faith People who can make good tea (may be :/) What would you add?
Even 10 years ago, I was reading a lot about marketing I am writing - The Subtle Art of Solo Travel in the Scrivener Desktop app My personal Mac is 10 years old and giving me trouble I wanted to sync Scrivener files in Dropbox (the only way according to them) I was a bit surprised by the list of documents I seem to have always been inclined towards learning about marketing (and building things) ------------- I was building a startup back then Had to learn multiple things I became a PM by mistake and always wanted to marketing role At Truepush, I joined as PM and moved into marketing after 1.5 years At Alohaa, I joined as PM and moved into marketing after 3 months I spent more time learning things the hard way (aka the real world) I did read many books However, I spent very little time in the marketing role than most others over 13 years of my career. But I am confident I would be among the top 5% of marketers. Why? - Have built startups, I know 0->1 - I can understand good vs bad product - I can do things myself, or have a team do it - I can teach (the team or anyone) - I understand customer psychology based on the Industry You can get marketers Founders who built products, scaled -> turned marketers. We can count on fingers (and I am one of those) Have you always dreamt of the role/work you are currently doing?
Our collective intelligence is stupid and individual intelligence is brilliant and here is why. (and what it has to do with your personal life and your organization) Here are few things in Collective Intelligence looks like: - Caste systems that make no sense in the current age. - Calling something we did millions of years - that is eating unprocessed food. Now we have to justify eating the same as being on a diet. - Not being ourselves thinking what others would think and not knowing who those are. We built collective intelligence to sustain wild animals and in the initial formations of society and live in tribes. They are no longer valid, we won’t live between wild animals now. Here is what individual intelligence would look like - Growing based on skill - Making judgment for your life, however unconventional it could be - Having strong opinions or loose opinions, knowing it’s your choice how you want to be instead of agreeing with Everyone. Why are these important? - You will not be another cog in the wheel, because you aren’t - If the universe wanted another replica, it wouldn’t produce you - You may actually be happy and content to the core. What the hell does all this do with your organization? It has everything to do with it - When you have individual opinions and align with your organization's vision, you will be more happy and less stressed about work - If you aren’t aligned with people, processes, and vision, you should move away from there and save your mental health and agony - When you rely on your own intelligence, you will become a leader, with or without a title.
Do Something of Value. That’s Enough. There are enough people: Doing mediocre work. Accepting the norm. Not pushing themselves. And guess what? That’s their choice. You don’t have to fight it. You don’t have to prove anything. You don’t have to chase validation. Just focus on doing something of value. Because: Mediocre is relative. What’s average to you might be exceptional to someone else. Accepting the norm is sometimes okay. Not everything needs disruption. Not pushing yourself is a personal choice. And that’s fine—as long as you’re at peace with it. But when you create something meaningful—for yourself, for others—you feel something deeper than success. You feel contentment. And that’s the real win. 👉 What’s one thing you do that brings you real fulfillment? Drop it in the comments.
“If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.” - Charles Bukowski PS: You may also like to learn the life lessons of Charles Bukowski narrated by Mark Mansion here - https://lnkd.in/gkzdtCrz PSS: Charles Bukowski is an A**h*le, you hate him, love him, but you can't ignore him
Attention is cruel The founder of Twitter is forgotten To jog your memory it’s Jack Dorsey This is a brutal reminder that the most influential people can become invisible We don’t have a chance Do your work and be happy People who fight for attention for no reason will suffer.
I wrote a batch of 35 posts for LinkedIn Re-read a few times within that week Until I was happy with the words and post I don't know which post-showups are daily Follower growth and reach fell to half My peace of mind double I still get DMs from people saying they liked the content / had some kind of impact Planning to batch 40-60 days and show up to comment only in the evenings for 15-30 mins and probably scheduled for 530-6 pm to post Want to try this for a quarter Let's see PS: This post isn't a scheduled one PSS: The drop in reach and follower count is because I am not writing current trending topics nor commenting a lot, which usually contributes to more followers PSSS: I consume content nicely so I have Ideas - I have some 20 notes that I can post instantly + 20-30 bookmarked posts that I can take inspiration from + 10-15 formats of posts. Do the math.
Let's break down some popular taglines You interchange the taglines and the meaning won't change Nike vs a condom company 'Let's do it'. Mcdonald's vs a food company "I'm Lovin' It" Subway vs a vegetable shop "Eat Fresh" L'OREAL vs a gold brand "Because you're worth it" Toyota vs a travel company "Let's go places" My point is - Early stages of your company, focus on revenues. When you are a rich company, spend on short taglines and big branding. PS: I see so many branding examples being circulated in early-stage companies and that drives me nuts. Hence this post.
I play a video game every day It's called Linkedin Unlike Mario with stages, this is like a temple run game Keep running and running The only way to keep sane is to write what I love Before being a marketer, I am a human being I know doing 150-100 comments using tools like Tapilo will give me 2-3X growth I know sending connection requests daily will get me bigger numbers But I stopped doing those because they made me burn out. Now, - I write, - I schedule, - I browse my feed, comment only if it feels good to me, - Save those enticing posts, use them as inspiration to write Best content comes from doing real work and having an interesting life This is a single-player game, so not too bothered about others' growth or demise Tip: I wrote and scheduled this post 20 days ago. Words published at any time will have an impact. Words are leverage. Tools are leverage. Use them.
Do you know 2 common things Reid Hoffman and Jack Dorsey have? First - They both founded the best Social Platforms on the Internet - LinkedIn and Twitter respectively Second - They don't follow post formats that influencers Insist. Their content is terribly written in terms of format, but have strong opinions. The point I am driving is - If you want to grow on Linkedin or X, you need great formats and content If you want to build great products, go build them, and don't waste time learning these
I started blocking people on LinkedIn because they are using AI-generated comments on my posts I sometimes write batch posts and schedules for a month Sometimes it's just one day at a time Either way, I am trying to improve the value of the content I am providing I go back and edit many posts, only to see less engagement or views and I stopped caring, as long as I was happy with what I wrote Pixels and Words (photos, videos, writing) is what I wanted to focus I don't code, and I enjoy content creation and planned to do it daily this year Writing is what Is one of the things I care about a lot and then comes the AI-generated posts that turn a festival into a funeral Ironically, the few I blocked are 'strategists' and 'experts' If you don't have respect for other's time and work and you just want to go poke them on automation Look for your ethics, or take a deep breath, for like an hour or more PS: I too use AI - to enhance my original post or find grammar mistakes(sometimes)
Quit your job to travel Travel, travel, and travel Be bored, come back, stay cozy Delete your social media, disappear Create something Try something hard Make doing things hard to be fun Make having fun is doing hard things Love people, hate no one Love yourself Don’t bother certain relatives Feel guilty, act on it Buy a lot of books that you can never finish And read as per mood Pick a book and be stubborn to finish Pick a book and leave it midway Buy a book and let it die untouched Walk in the sun, in traffic, without getting annoyed Make your tea like it’s the best in the world Wake up at 5 am, sleep at 9 pm Try not to sleep for 24 hours Call it Jagaram or a hackathon, your wish Take a cold bath, then add 4kg of ice, bath again Praise people for no reason, and know they deserve that Make a quick sandwich, or hot dal, or a nice curry, and enjoy without having screens Make every bite count, and don’t count those bites Drink a lot of water, be hydrated If dehydrated, try not to be irritated with others Buy electoral or salted lemon water take a nap during the day, on a weekend There are a million tiny little things that go unnoticed You can enjoy most of those for free daily! Live a little Scratch that Live. Enough.
I’m looking for a co-founder and I would give 90% of the stock to him/her/them. Responsibilities: come up with an idea, put personal money or raise investments, get PMF, fundraise even more, form a nice team, maintain EBITA profit at 50%, fundraise even more, scale, don’t screw up, expand globally, don’t screw up, buy 8% of my stock and rest 2% I will take when it goes to IPO or gets sold. My 10% is for this post. PS: I read a quote that said to think wild and the universe may present it to you
I spent hours on Chagpt in the last few months It knows me better than most people now It gave me one of the best life resumes that I could not write. I asked it - 'Based on all my chats, asses my personality?' And then asked it to re-write it using Smarty brevity principles for easy readability, This is what it gave me - 🧠 You’re a Strategic Doer You think in systems, not just tasks. Love frameworks and hate fluff. Quick wins today. Long-term compounding tomorrow. 🔍 Detail-Focused, Not Detail-Drowned You notice what others miss. You audit, tweak, and improve — fast. Progress > perfection. 🧗♂️ You Own Your Time High-agency. Low-drama. Know your energy. Spend it wisely. Side projects? Check. Full-time? Handled. 🤖 You’re AI + Human You love tools. But you get people. Data + Desire = your superpower. 💬 You Think Differently Not a trend-follower. Not a loud contrarian either. You say, “Here’s a better way.” 🎯 You Grow Intentionally Always learning. Always building. Never burning out. You’re a quiet operator with a loud impact. Smart. Practical. Sharp. Grounded. PS: Try the same prompt(s) and share what you found in the comments below.
Have an obsession other than work Runs Walk God Spiritual Books Gardening I can go on Having an obsession outside of work will make life easier since your mind share slightly is divided and can make friends outside work So you give some space for your mind to think more when you get back to work
At this point in time, I write every day My writing brings me $0 in revenue But it gives me priceless satisfaction to put words one after the other That's my reward What's the thing you are currently obsessed with?
Can I survive with Rs.1 crore/month in Hyderabad? No, I don’t remotely have any money like that. It just felt nice to ask. Okay, I will see myself out!
