In January, we hired our first AE at 30 Minutes to President's Club.

It was not a perfect decision. But it was one the best decisions we made this entire year.

Alex Murphy wasn't exactly stepping into an easy job:

1. My cofounder Nick sold every single deal in the 5-year history of the company.

1️⃣ Content Production: Project manage content launches to make a big bang, work with editors on post production to make the content pop, and own the distribution on all of our major channels (newsletter, social media, web, and more).

2️⃣ Social Media: Set the social strategy and calendar, write tactical posts in the voice of 30MPC, and partner with editors to take the most viral clips from our content.

3️⃣ Everything Else: Be a marketing jackknife managing everything from landing pages, to A/B testing conversion, to setting up a swag line.

If you’ve got these things, you'll do well:
- 3+ years of marketing experience (ideally in fast-moving tech or media)
- A knack for spotting viral trends and explaining why they work
- Copy chops, aesthetic taste, and the ability to ship fast
