Yeah...

The typical new joiner's experience with data and why data scientists and PMs, will not be out of a job despite the hottest AI products.

Data moats are and will be for the foreseeable future about new sources that no one else has access, outside context, and how you ensure them to be clean.

No improvement in model quality will change that. The only thing Chat-GPT 6 and 7 will do better is to be more confident in its findings that are still false.

Miro announced at Canvas 25 their new AI capabilities, and I have since then played around with them a bit.

The two core features for me that stuck out are Sidekicks and Flows. 

Sidekicks are essentially an LLM that is capable of interacting with your Miro canvas based on what you trained it on.
You can, for instance, select parts of your canvas and ask it for advice on that particular selection.
I’m working right now on creating a PLG Sidekick that is trained on my material for that very use case.

The Flows are a set of instructions that you can branch from any frame, but with a predefined output. For instance, an Excel sheet, a flow chart, a picture, slides… whatever you like. (Screenshot below for an example)

This is extremely powerful to shorten some workflows that otherwise create a ton of work for me:

For instance, if you interview someone and you create at the same time notes like post-its based on that interview with your observations, what the person said… anything really. These Flows can then transform that into reusable documents and spreadsheets based on your instructions.

And that’s awesome, it’s so much better than a normal call transcript because it’s based on your observations and paired with custom instructions.
You could specifically instruct Flows to always look for mentions of a specific feature and then separate that information and put that into a structured table.

You can even combine multiple inputs into one output, for instance, you could take specific parts of that interview and combine with a screenshot of something you took, and have the LLM process all three sources at the same time.

Then you could take that output and run it automatically to something else at the end of it. 
The magic here is how seamless it works for a visual medium and how easy it is to set this up as a template for a recurring task (like an interview).

It feels like the AI supports me on where it’s good (summarization, sorting, etc.) and leaves me alone where I’m good (visualizing and thinking unstructured).

It’s hard to describe, but believe me when I say: it’s really good.
