24 things to post instead of just “company updates” (without overdoing it): 1. A bold opinion you have on the state of your industry 2. A quick story of something cool that happened yesterday 3. A interesting conversation you had with a client / friend / colleague 4. A list of things you can do instead of the thing most people do 5. A quick step by step guide on how you solve a problem 6. A “how to” post (because yes, they still work on LinkedIn) 7. A harsh truth to people who have an opinion you disagree with 8. An exciting new announcement in a non awful, non cringy way 9. A funny realisation about the job you do / industry you’re in 10. A story about how you met your wife / husband (LI loves love) 11. A list of habits the elite performers in your industry do daily 12. A long form piece of writing you wrote in private 13. A way you improved something that before wasn’t working 14. A recap of achievements you’re proud of from last month 15. A list of resources / tools that help you do your job easier 16. A personal take on a cool visual you saw and screenshotted 17. A comparison of strengths vs weaknesses of something 18. A transformation of something you used to do but don’t do now 19. A quick bit of advice to your past self 3 years ago 20. An argument of what most people in your industry do wrong 21. A really bold and polarising political opinion (joking lol) 22. A list of notes/thoughts/learnings from a trip you took recently 23. A opposing opinion on something you don’t believe in 24. A simple way to do something better These are all things I’ve posted over the last month on LinkedIn. Without being a cringy, over the top, influencer weirdo. And…none of them are company updates. Literally no reason you should just be posting company updates unless your brain works at the same rate of an inanimate object. Use yer imagination. If you're looking to build an audience on LinkedIn? Company updates won't cut it. I put together a 30 page book, for free, to show you what will cut it: https://lnkd.in/eJvYp7wa
A hook shouldn’t generate the MOST attention. A hook should filter the RIGHT attention. How most people write hooks: - Use 8 words or less - Optimise for mobile - Include numbers How smart people write Targeted Hooks: - Call out the Person the post is for - Call out the Pain the post solves - Call out the Payoff the post will deliver I've been teaching this hook writing framework to my clients for over 2 years. A CEO generated $100,00 within 60 days. A coach doubled MRR within 1 month. Another CEO grew from 20k to 150k+ followers. All because they started implementing this. Write Targeted Hooks and you'll: 1. Gain more control over who you attract to your posts 2. Increase likelihood of reader reading the whole post 3. Have a happier reader, because the post is clearly for them It's time to re-educate yourself on hooks. No more random hooks to go viral. More Targeted Hooks to attract the right audience. Now, can you do me one small favour? Repost ♻️ to educate more people on the right way to write hooks. Appreciated! p.s. I wrote 30 pages on how to build a linkedin audience. It’s yours for free: https://lnkd.in/eJvYp7wa
If your LinkedIn posts aren't landing, it's because: It’s stuck at Level 1 or 2. Most posts sit in the Surface Noise or Playing It Safe zone: - Broad tips with no clear angle - Safe (boring) stories that avoid bold opinions - Content that blends in instead of standing out This is like no mans land for LinkedIn. To grow faster + attract real opportunities: You MUST go deeper. I created this 5 level framework to show you how. Here's how to use it: 1. Use it to self-audit your next LinkedIn post 2. Move your content from Level 1 → Level 5 3. Write posts that create trust + new opportunities Save this if you're serious about improving your content. Time to level up. For example, I post 14 x per week on LinkedIn. I'm able to do that because I have a content system. Here's where my I manage, write and schedule all my LinkedIn content: magicpost.in ✌️
