Managing sales on-boarding, surfacing and standardizing existing best practices while also leveraging external methodologies, and overall bringing the team from good to great.

What we've done:
- Built the sales team's first formal Onboarding Plan - 5-7 weeks based on role with 2-4 onboarding checkpoints
- Planned Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Kickoff, & Annual Strategic Account Summits

NewsCred is the world's leader in Content Marketing, as determined by both Gartner and Forrester. As Manager of Training and Enablement, I worked with teams across the org to ensure that all employees had access to the information that they need to be successful, both on day 1 and throughout their time at NewsCred.

Projects Included:
- Building out a company-wide onboarding program utilizing an LMS, wiki system, virtual & in-person training sessions
- Driving buildout, adoption, utilization, & ROI of a collaboration software, LMS, & conversation analysis tool
- Streamlining the rollout of new processes, methodologies, & frameworks across departments, including MEDDICC (deal qualification), STEAM (internal methodology), & Command of Message (value-based selling)
- Planning President's Club (sales incentive trip) to reward our top performers and drive employee retention (NPS of 100!)
- Planning Quarterly Business Reviews for the sales team & customer service teams to review success & bring teams together for development, an event which has grown to include other teams such as engineering and product based on value (NPS of 57.8)
- Identifying & facilitating training/development opportunities across 5 global offices & remote employees across the world
- Working closely with executive team & leadership to ensure alignment on processes & methodologies
- Managing weekly Global Sales Meetings and Global Sales Trainings on topics such as product roll-outs, client spotlights, meeting prep, and more

Sales Training Manager

Dominion Payroll Services

Established best practices in hiring/recruiting and ensured that consultants had every tool available for success within the role, from onboarding and training guides to efficient performance reviews and weekly meetings. My goal was to create a program that consistently attracts and grows top talent, allows managers to more easily and effectively lead their teams, and captures valuable analytics that can be used by executives to increase revenue.

Payroll and Human Resources are often areas that are analyzed independently. I helped organizations look at the larger impact and relationship of HR and Payroll, identifying opportunities to either utilize technology (SaaS products) for the first time, integrate multiple systems, streamline current processes or technologies, or add new functionality - all in order to create a comprehensive and consolidated solution that works FOR the organization. My intent was to engage employees, lessen the administrative burden on staff, and allow executives and business owners to gain more analytics and insight into their business - all to more easily achieve the goals of the organization.

Netchex Atlanta

Quickly recruited into a training program for business-to-business sales with Netchex. Spent 4 months learning sales methodology, business development, and appointment setting. Was promoted early to Outside Sales Consutant.

Assisted companies in Atlanta analyze their processes for human resources and payroll to identify areas where technology could be used to create efficiency. Through automating manual processes and streamlining procedures, companies were able to eliminate wasted time and energy for their administrators, leading to better workflow, faster completion of projects, and more time to spend on activities that helped them reach their overall goals.

I've been in sales since high school when I sold bathing suits at a surf shop. Since then, I've done many jobs in sales, including carrying a quota as an AE, building sales training programs from the ground up, training externally as a consultant, & leading a sales team.

In my 10+ years in sales, I've seen how most salespeople & teams approach it. Selfish, short-term, sink-or-swim strategies.

But I believe better selling exists. Sales processes that leave sellers & buyers proud to work together. Strategies that allow us to confidently & effortlessly achieve our goals. Sales coaching that jumpstarts careers & creates lifelong mentorship.
