This is something I’ve never shared before

But I think it might inspire some of you—
Or at least I hope it will.

No one in my family is an entrepreneur.

In fact, my parents were really concerned when I left the country to study an ‘unconventional’ career path.

And I don’t blame them...

For them growing up in an environment and post-communist society, only a few career paths were outlined to be ‘safe’ to follow.

I just knew I wanted to do something different.

To create something that will fulfill me 
Every single day.

Looking back—

That was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Yet the most challenging.

This decision allowed me to travel the world.
To build a business from just an idea.
To fail multiple others and learn from it.
To get to know myself better.

You see—

I did not have anyone around me growing up who had built a business.
I had no idea what or how to start.

I got to step into a completely unknown territory.
I got to figure out things.
To try and fail many times.

And this is where meeting inspiring people, mentors, and networking became ABSOLUTE key to allowing me to:

- do more
- aim for more
- be more

Why am I telling you this story?

Because it’s really easy to focus on what you're missing to reach your goals.

It’s easy to find excuses.
To create ‘only if’ scenarios.

But at the end of the day...

You’re the only one responsible for making things happen for yourself.
Not your environment.
Not your family.

Don’t let not having the ideal conditions right stop you from winning and designing the life you WANT to live.

I get this question daily.

Everyone is looking for a ‘quick’ way to the top.

The truth is…

It doesn’t work like that.
You can’t skip steps.

Building your reputation takes time.
Becoming top-of-mind takes effort.

Stop looking for the short and easy.

Hard work always pays off.

Learn how to write for impact.
Learn how to synthesise ideas.
Learn how to build and nurture a community.
Learn how to capture attention and deliver value on it.

People remember you when you offer them something.

- advice
- insights
- education
- inspiration
- emotions

Stop looking at what you can ‘take’.
Start giving first.

Your audience is your asset.

Not your content. 

And you need to ensure two things when building your audience:

How useful is your content?
How true and valid is your content?

Both validity and utility are needed when writing. 

An example: 

“Practice makes perfect.”

This is valid because doing something consistently can make you improve. 

But it's not useful without knowing the best way to do it or what kind of practice is effective.

So, think about this—

What is something that is both true and useful for your audience?

When you write content, make sure—

- you share impactful ideas
- you keep them true and valid
- you make them useful and actionable

If your content lacks utility or validity...
It most likely will fall flat. 

And building a community will become a challenge.

The more value you deliver with your content
The more people will stick around.
For longer.

PS: I heard this theory at Alex Hormozi when listening to one of his podcast episodes the other day. And makes total sense.

Best podcast, hands down!

This is why I don’t talk about the algorithm.

You see…

I don’t believe there’s such as thing as ‘hacking your way up’ to the top.
I don’t tell you how to ‘hack’ the algorithm.

How to trick the system.
How to win quickly.

Why?

Because I know that won’t help you.

At least not in the long run.

Because if you don’t have the main principles in place.

The algorithm doesn’t matter.
That’s not your first concern.

You need first to learn how to make ideas:

- impactful
- actionable
- communicate them clearly

Do this and you’ll see better results.

You've been posting on LinkedIn for a few weeks now.

And you spent 2+ hours writing that one post you’re really proud of. 

3 hours after you hit “post”, you realise...

The strategy has become a buzzword, and most people don't even know what it means.

This is how I see it:

A strategy is a plan designed to help you achieve a goal.

→ So, the first step is to have what you want to achieve VERY clear.

Quantify your goal for more tangible results.

Use time metrics and success numbers.

→ Next, think about what you need to get there.

Set 3-5 steps or pillars that are required to help you achieve your goal.

→ Finally, add smaller milestones in the middle

The goal is to go from A to B.
However, each pillar often has smaller steps in between.

Make sure you get clarity on these and keep consistent.
