Cecilia is an experienced, hands-on leader with deep experience scaling telehealth, education, learning, and training businesses. Most recently, she was the CEO of PATHWAYos, a cutting-edge software platform revolutionizing career-connected learning. Her handling of the M&A process facilitated the seamless acquisition in October 2023, ensuring the platform's enduring success. Her efforts in rebranding and implementing robust processes were instrumental in repositioning PATHWAYos' trajectory. Concurrently, Cecilia serves as a Venture Partner at Hannah Grey, a first-check venture capital firm renowned for its commitment to supporting customer-centric founders redefining everyday experiences. With her extensive background, Cecilia offers invaluable insights into GTM strategies, growth planning, and navigating regulatory landscapes while instilling the best practices for early-stage start-ups. Previously, Cecilia was the COO at PresenceLearning, a leading live online special education services provider. This experience combined her education and entrepreneurial skill set to operationalize the business for scale. Managing over 50 employees, she developed and implemented efficiencies and identified additional revenue streams that resulted in the company's largest increase in profit. She was responsible for formulating operational guidance, including developing strategic cross-functional initiatives, creating internal efficiencies, redesigning the user journey while maintaining quality, and building dashboards aligned with long-term objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Her and her team's contributions positioned Presence's November 2021 acquisition. Accomplishments included: 👉 Substantially increasing the number of clinical providers 👉 Operationalizing a new product in response to COVID, which enabled the company to exceed revenue goals 👉 Designing and developing the Capacity, Learning & Development, and Clinical Account Management teams She has spent her career focused on upskilling the workforce, connecting education and the workforce, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to all users. She holds a JD from the University of Denver and a BS and an M.Ed. in Education from the University of Minnesota where she played ice hockey, twice appearing in the Frozen Four. She co-founded the software company Ranku in 2013, which built two-sided marketplaces for state university systems to increase student enrollment. It included recruitment technology and predictive analytics software before Wiley acquired it in 2016. ​
