Stepping up and speaking publicly for the first time takes guts. The fear. The adrenaline. The "why did I say yes?" moment. But then, boom, the buzz kicks in. That’s why I loved seeing a few people step up and own their voice for the first time last week along side with some veteran speakers. I think a panel discussion is a great way to start speaking publicly.  I remember how it was for me. Last week, I had the privilege of joining fellow BCORP leaders at the BLAB event, where we shared insights on the power of business as a force for good. Conversations were raw, inspiring, and full of purpose—just the way I like them. Surrounding yourself with positive, mission-driven people changes everything. The world needs more of that energy. Do you ever think about how you want to 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 when you retire? I do. And for me, it's not about titles or bank accounts. I want to feel proud of the man I became and I want my family to be proud of me too. That feeling doesn’t magically appear when I’m 65. It starts today, in how I live, how I work, how I grow. • How I show up on social media    • How I treat people around me    • The work I choose to do    • The growth I pursue    • The values I pass down Money? Sure. I’d like enough for a little villa in Greece. But it’s just one part of the bigger picture. One day, I’ll look back. And when I do, I want to know I lived with intention. That I showed up authentically. That the advice I gave others matched the life I lived. I’m not here to take over the world. I’m here to walk alongside a few people, on a journey of self-discovery, so they can live fully, intentionally, and build a life they’re proud of. It's a simple vision but its clear and meaningful to me. I'm in my 45th year, and I know too well how life flashes by, so I planning to make the most of it! Let's get to work! Have a wonderful day.

Once we accept that everything is a bit tougher, things can actually start to feel easier. It’s a message I’ve been sharing with my team and clients lately. We’re not going back to how things were. Business is a tougher game now. But once we accept that, we can start to enjoy the new game again. Shifting our mindset and taking action is probably the most powerful thing we can do. Personally, life has never been easy for too long! But perspective is everything. It’s the difference between being optimistic and actually enjoying what we do or not.
