I love a good bit of banter, exercise religiously and can be found playing footy⚽️ on most days if I’m not at my standup desk obsessing over my productivity whilst doing a 25-minute pomodoro(Google what that is, it’s a game changer!) What are my simple pleasures I hear you ask…❓ Here are a few: 1️⃣ Being able to switch off my laptop at 4pm and forget about work until the next morning. ⭐ 2️⃣ Getting into bed by 9pm & securing 9 hours of sleep - sounds criminal, right? 🛏️ 3️⃣ Cracking open an ice cold Pepsi Max whilst “working” from a beach with a wonky wifi connection. 👨🏼‍💻 𝐌𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 I was the first BD hire and employee number 6 at Klasha, helping build their client lists to the hundreds, scaling with the business from pre-seed to securing over $4m in funding. I love startups and have a soft spot in my heart for them 👀. Then, I was the first business growth hire at Qrowdsy, where I built the go-to-market, closing $500k+ whilst realising that my real strength is creating and scaling sales for startups, which I now put to good use in my (dream) job. When I worked in African fintech, I realised that 99% of startups across emerging markets have rubbish sales processes, mindlessly spamming hundreds of leads with cold emails and using Google sheets instead of a CRM.
