You don’t need more time. You need better systems. Here are 3 key themes to own your day: 1. Take Immediate Action • Handle small tasks (2 minutes or less) immediately. You'll save your cognitive bandwidth for needle-moving tasks. • Tackle your most challenging work before 10 am. Your afternoon will be full of momentum. • Chunk overwhelming projects into 30-minute action steps, making progress inevitable. — 2. Eliminate Time Thieves • Activate Airplane Mode to create distraction-free focus periods. • Switch your phone to Grayscale Mode to reduce addictive screen time. • Make "No" your default response to reclaim 10+ hours weekly from non-prioritized commitments. — 3. Design Smarter Systems • Reset with the Four Quarters Method. It'll be impossible to let a bad morning ruin your whole day. • Ask Power Questions. Reduce your project timelines in half through strategic thinking. • Spend 15 minutes the night before creating your 3:3:3 Plan. This will cut wasted time deciding what to do next. Which time-saving tip are you excited to try? ♻️ Repost to help others reclaim free time. ➕ Follow Ben Meer for more.

I’ve spent hundreds of hours studying world-class leaders. Here are 12 sentences that separate good leaders from great ones. They fall into 3 categories: 1. Develop People Strategically • Pay your best people top dollar. They generate exponential returns that justify high investment. • Provide feedback by sharing wins in public and addressing ways to improve in private. • Promote others to leadership to empower growth and autonomy in the organization. — 2. Champion Operational Excellence • Protect your morning hours from meetings to preserve deep work. • Seek advisors to provide essential perspective. Even brilliant leaders have blind spots. • Schedule commitments in your calendar. They'll actually get done (unlike to-do lists). — 3. Build a Value-Driven Culture • Set boundaries that don't tolerate poor behavior. You rise to the level of boundaries you set for your team. • Adopt a "rented, not owned" mindset to create a culture that thrives beyond one leader. • Foster psychological safety so teams feel empowered to take risks that drive innovation. ♻️ Repost if you agree + want to build better leaders. ➕ Follow Ben Meer for more ideas like these.

How to set boundaries (in business and life): Use this 3-step framework: Step 1: Define your standards clearly. Know exactly what you will and won't tolerate. For example: • No answering work emails after 6pm • Zero tolerance for passive-aggressive communication • No meetings that could have been an email — Step 2: Communicate with confidence. Next time you need to set a boundary, try this script: 1. "When [specific action] happens, I feel [emotion].” 2. “My personal policy is [your boundary].” 3. “If this continues, I'll need to [consequence].” 4. I value our [relationship/partnership] and hope we can find a solution." Stay factual, not accusatory. — Step 3: Follow through consistently. This is where most people slip. Remember your 3 options when boundaries are crossed: 1. Change your boundaries (and only once) 2. Implement stated consequences 3. Reconsider the relationship Stand up for yourself today and every day. ♻️ Repost to help others. ➕ Follow Ben Meer for more.

Your inbox is stealing your focus. Take it back with the 3-21-0 Method: Most professionals check email 74 times daily. That's 74 times your brain switches context. Use the 3-21-0 Method to turn chaos into clarity: • Schedule 3 email sessions per day • Spend 21 minutes per session • Get to 0 emails left (inbox zero) This method (created by Kevin Kruse) works because it harnesses the power of batching. It protects your deep work from constant interruption. — Notion Mail takes this framework even further: 1. It automatically sorts incoming emails based on what matters to you. 2. You can create custom inbox views specifically designed for the 3-21-0 approach. 3. Their AI-powered suggested replies eliminate repetitive typing, helping clear your inbox faster. — Your scheduled sessions might look like: • 10:00-10:21 AM • 1:00-1:21 PM • 4:30-4:51 PM Between sessions? Turn off notifications and reclaim your focus. — The most successful people aren't drowning in email. They're protecting their attention like the valuable asset it is. P.S. The 10 Most Powerful Marketing Ideas You Need to Know: Apply these tips in 3 steps: Insightful images from Yasmine Khosrowshahi, shared by Abi Bouhmaida on IG. 1. Emphasize the Value Proposition • Highlight how your product transforms lives, not just its features. • Paint a vivid picture of the customer’s dream outcome to inspire action. • Focus on the end result—the customer’s benefit must be the center of your messaging. 2. Engage the Audience • Create urgency by showing what’s rare or limited to spark interest. • Hook with quick, bold content, then build trust with longer-form content. • Understand your audience’s core desires to make every message resonate. 3. Craft a Creative Strategy • Tell a compelling story—your product is the solution to their journey. • Position your offer as a cure for their pain point, not just prevention. • Simplify choices to help customers decide without feeling overwhelmed. Which idea resonates most with you? ♻️ Repost to help others with their marketing skills. ➕ Follow Ben Meer for more.

Harsh truth: Burnout has nothing to do with how many hours you work. It's caused by working for the wrong people, toward the wrong goals, in the wrong systems. Here's what actually causes burnout (and how to fix it): 1. Energy Mismanagement ↳ Your problem isn't time—it's energy allocation. ↳ Solution: Timeblock your highest-energy periods with your most important work. 2. Environment Vampires ↳ Toxic coworkers slowly deplete your mental energy reserves. ↳ Solution: Find and spend more time with people who give you energy. Stop spending time with people who drain it. 3. Misaligned Values ↳ When your work contradicts your core values, even small tasks drain you. ↳ Solution: Define your values (Ikigai is my recommendation). Only commit to work that aligns with them. Bad systems create burnout, while good systems prevent it. Build systems that energize rather than deplete you. The best career move isn’t joining a fancy company. It’s finding a leader who will champion your work. Here’s my 5-step system to find jobs with great managers: 1. Network with people at the target company before applying. Use LinkedIn to find people in the role’s department. Send a DM asking to connect on a quick call and learn more about the team. Then when you submit your cover letter: • Mention the names of the people you spoke with. • Tell what you learned about the company culture. Go the extra mile (like this) and you will stand out.  — 2. Upgrade your resume with AI. I tested Teal’s AI Resume Builder (it’s mind-blowing). Noteworthy features: • Convert your LinkedIn Profile into a resume format. • Generate a custom resume that aligns with the job posting. • Tailor your resume to the job description Using Teal’s matching mode, you can see exactly which skills you should highlight for a particular job. — 3. Add an “Interests” section to your CV. Give the interviewer an easy place to start a conversation. List 2-3 hobbies or personal experiences: • Played guitar for 7 years and performed at local events. • Built a smart home system using IoT devices. • Hiked over 50 trails and national parks. You’ll go from another name in a stack of resumes to a memorable individual. — 4. Explore the market every 6 months. You don’t owe a bad employer loyalty. You owe it to yourself to get a job that values you for what you create. The fastest ways to accelerate your earning power: • Make moves every 2-3 years.  • Replace a job when you have a job. Even if you’re satisfied at your current company, understand your worth in the market. — 5. Negotiate your offer package. I wish I knew this sooner... You can negotiate more than just pay: • Remote and flexible work schedule • Relocation assistance • Job title • Vacation time • Early performance review at 6 months (can lead to a sooner-than-standard salary increase or promotion) — There you have it—5 tips to accelerate your career growth and fulfillment. Prioritize what truly matters: a manager who will champion your growth, develop your mastery, and give you the autonomy you deserve. P.S. Remember I mentioned using AI to work smarter, not harder? Using Teal’s AI features, you can tailor your resume to the job description to increase your chance of being noticed by recruiters and hiring managers.
