However, it shouldn't disrupt your job search. You need to apply the right strategies to keep going. Here are some strategic ways to handle it: 1/ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: After an interview, send a thank-you email. If you don't hear back by the expected date, reply with a polite inquiry about the hiring timeline. 2/ 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀: Use the silence as a chance to reflect on your interview performance. Identify areas of improvement for future interviews. 3/ 𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘁: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Invest time in self-care and activities that boost your morale and self-esteem. Focusing on these practical steps allows you to navigate the ghosting experience thoughtfully, potentially opening new doors even when others remain closed. Tell me your thoughts. Have you ever been ghosted?
I was REJECTED for an internal position after passing all assessments. This was a very toxic work environment. The manager bullied and demoralized everyone on the team, including me. She FIRED me for being honest and expressing my concerns. Three days later, she offered to come back to my role. I said no, but no, thank you. One year later, an AMAZING job offer came my way. 5 Years later, another terrific job offer came my way. After over 10 years, I realized this was a stepping stone to better opportunities for me. Lessons Learned: 1)Leaving an unhealthy work environment is a blessing. 2)Your value does not decrease based on someone’s opinion of you. 3)If one opportunity doesn't go through, many more opportunities will. 4)Never let anyone underestimate you. 5)You must believe in yourself. Agree?
𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗻. The corporate world is challenging and demanding, but kindness is essential; it can transform how we work and live. I once landed a job with a boss with a friendly atmosphere and a creative spirit. My boss had a reputation for being exceptionally kind, and I soon found out why. On my first day, my boss made it a point to welcome me personally. He took the time to learn about my background, interests, and what I hoped to achieve in my career. This small but meaningful gesture set the tone for the supportive environment he actively fostered. As deadlines approached and stress levels naturally rose, my boss could sense when his team needed a morale boost. He surprised everyone on one particularly hectic afternoon by organizing an impromptu coffee break. With a genuine smile, he encouraged his team to leave their desks, relax, and chat about anything but work. His kind approach wasn't just about creating a pleasant atmosphere; it also extended to personal development. As a result, our team was very loyal to the company and went above and beyond to deliver results. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗢𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆. This leader reminded us that kindness is a powerful leadership trait that enhances employee well-being and drives sustainable success for businesses. Please share your thoughts. Are you aware of any successful leaders or CEOs who embody kindness?

But then… they realised he was on a student visa. Under a technical policy they told him... "Dave, we have to let you go...” “You're replacing an American worker’s job." He had 30 days to pack my bags and leave the US. He thought my career was over. Fast forward 5 years... He brought the idea to life without them and raised $34MM for his own tech startup, which helped companies hire underrepresented talent. What’s even crazier? Indeed reached out to invest in his company. 3 years AFTER they fired him! Today, he is scaling 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 (with over 450+ brands signed up!). He feels like he is right where he belongs. 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲… 𝗜 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. I wanted to make myself irreplaceable in the workplace. I dedicated countless hours to my job, often stretching my workdays to 12 hours or more. I believed that the more I worked, the more indispensable I would become. I felt compelled to say "yes" to every stakeholder request, eager to prove my commitment and worth. However, this relentless drive came at a heavy price. I neglected my well-being, pushing myself to burnout. As my health deteriorated, I found myself falling ill, unable to keep up with the demands I had so eagerly taken on. Regrettably, my dedication to work meant I missed precious moments with my daughter. Milestones I would never get back—her first steps, putting her to bed, and simple everyday joys. Ultimately, I learned that no job is worth sacrificing the moments that truly matter. Balancing work and personal life is not just important but essential for a fulfilling life. Your job can replace you, but your family will never find another you. Do you agree that we need to find a balance between work and personal life?

Many of us have realized that working from home allows us to care for ourselves, focus, be productive, and ultimately deliver more value. In the past, most of us have been working 12 hours a day, including commute time. We have missed our kids' milestones and precious moments that do not return. We have sacrificed our health overworking. However, in recent years, we've discovered that life is about more than work. Family, relationships, hobbies, mental health, and personal growth are just as important. Working in the office means: - Time wasted finding a quiet space to work - Time wasted on noise and distractions - Time wasted looking at other's outfits - Time wasted on micromanagement - Time wasted commuting in traffic - Time wasted on gossiping - Time wasted stressing out Working in the office means less time to live. If we focus on outcomes rather than hours and support one another, we can create a work environment that fosters growth, creativity, productivity, and happiness. Share your thoughts! 🙌🏼 How has your experience with remote work been, and what changes do you wish to see moving forward?

This means options like working remotely, flexible hours, and understanding managers who get that life happens. Genuine recognition is also a big deal.
