𝗚𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻. Behind every application is a person who: → Spent hours tailoring their resume. → Researched your company extensively. → Prepared thoughtfully for interviews. → Is waiting anxiously for your response. Yet 75% of job seekers never hear back after applying. A friend recently went through 5 rounds of interviews at a tech company. She met the team, completed an assignment, and discussed start dates. Then... silence. No response to follow-ups. No closure. This isn't just a candidate who didn't get a job. This is a human being whose time, hopes, and professional dignity were disregarded. Recruiters and hiring managers: Remember when you were on the other side? Remember the anxiety of waiting? The self-doubt that crept in with each day of silence? I understand you're busy. I understand you have too many applicants. But a simple automated rejection takes seconds to send and means everything to a candidate waiting in limbo. People remember how you made them feel. Today's rejected candidate might be tomorrow's client, partner, or hiring manager. The tech world is smaller than we think. Let's bring humanity back to hiring. Even a "no" is better than nothing at all. Help me share this post and let’s end ghosting culture.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺. Here’s the real deal: If you’re constantly watching your team… You might have chosen the wrong people. Giving people flexibility is the most effective way to provide value. Here is why: 1/ 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 → They produce outcomes, not justifications. → True motivation comes from ownership. → Responsibility surpasses supervision. → Excessive oversight destroys trust. 2/ 𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 → Extra hours enhance learning, not sitting in traffic. → Time is spent mastering skills, not being idle. → A balanced life boosts efficiency. → Energy is preserved, not wasted. 3/ 𝗡𝗼 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀. → Collaboration triumphs over rivalry. → Achievements trump appearances. → Culture flourishes without conflict. → Ideas prevail, not personalities. Let’s take a look at how to make this work: → Use tools like Tango for documentation, training, and transparent processes. → Empower your team with freedom of place and time. → Measure achievements, not clocked hours. → Prioritize impact—not presence. → Define meaningful KPIs. A genuinely exceptional leader can guide you toward achieving not just a single six-figure salary but potentially multiple six-figure income levels throughout your career. Studies indicate that teams led by supportive leaders can experience a 30% increase in productivity. A great leader empowers you to unlock your fullest potential by providing: ↳mentorship, ↳fostering skill development, ↳and creating opportunities for advancement. A great leader can support and help you navigate challenges, seize lucrative opportunities, and ultimately enhance your professional trajectory, paving the way for financial success. Research shows that nearly 70% of employees would be more innovative if they felt supported by their leaders. In the long term, it would pay off in your career if you worked for a great leader. That is why I help my coaching clients find a leader; working for a great leader is a blessing. Would you trade a higher paycheck to work for a great leader?

Dream jobs are not just about earning a six-figure salary. They also about having a positive work culture. I've seen too many people jump at the first job offer without considering the environment they'll spend 40+ hours a week in. The salary might look good on paper, but is it worth sacrificing your mental health? During my career journey from Harvard to Amazon, I learned that your workplace shapes not just your professional growth, but your entire well-being. Here are 6 critical elements to look for beyond the paycheck: 1/ 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲. ↳ Respect for your time outside of work. ↳ No expectation of 24/7 availability. 2/ 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. ↳ They care about your growth, not just your output. ↳ They model self-care and work-life balance themselves. 3/ 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆. ↳ Freedom to speak up without fear. ↳ Mistakes are learning opportunities, not career killers. 4/ 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. ↳ Your contributions are seen and valued. ↳ Your wellbeing matters as much as your work. 5/ 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. ↳ The company's actions match their stated values. ↳ Ethics aren't sacrificed for profit. 6/ 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. ↳ Development opportunities that energize rather than drain. ↳ Clear paths forward that don't require burnout. Remember: No job is worth your mental health. The right opportunity should elevate your life, not consume it. When interviewing, look beyond the role and salary. Ask questions that reveal the true culture. Watch how people interact. Trust your instincts. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀?

A low salary does not allow them to maintain a good quality of life. 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 → 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, → 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, → 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, → 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, → 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 can make an employee feel undervalued, unappreciated, and unsupported. Similarly, a lack of recognition for their hard work and contributions can make employees feel unappreciated and unmotivated. Furthermore, a 𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, such as one characterized by → 𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗽, → 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗼𝗿 → 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, which can lead to emotional distress, burnout, and a negative impact on mental health. 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲... I thought I was going to get promoted. I was fulfilling all my responsibilities. I was saying "yes" to everything. I was doing the job. However, my manager's feedback was that I was doing a great job, but I needed to be more visible. This shocked me, but I had to learn this lesson the hard way.  Those who master this skill of self-promotion stand out, get noticed, get promoted, earn more money, and may live the life others dream about. Here are 7 Key Things That Can Help You Get promoted 👆1/ 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲: You need to be visible to get promoted. →The ability to articulate your value can open doors you never knew existed. 🤘2/ 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Selling ourselves is the ultimate game-changer. →In today's competitive business world, self-promotion is not just an advantage—it's a necessity. 👍 3/ 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 →Leading projects, mentoring colleagues, and showing decision-making abilities exemplify readiness for greater responsibilities. 👏4/ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 →Strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and management can lead to greater collaboration and recognition. 🖐5/ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 →Clear and professional communication helps you articulate your ideas and build a reliable, professional image. 👍 6/ 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 →Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and taking action demonstrates leadership potential and drive. 👉 7/ 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 →Consistently achieving and exceeding goals and objectives shows your capability and commitment to the company’s success. Think about the last time you saw a colleague land a dream project or a promotion. Chances are, they didn't just have the skills; they knew how to highlight them effectively. Your career won't advocate for itself. 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲. What do you think gets people promoted at work?

When I first moved to America, not speaking English and facing 100+ rejections, I watched others succeed while I struggled. I learned that celebrating others doesn't diminish your light; It illuminates the path for everyone. Here's why applauding others' success is the secret to your own growth: 1/ 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁. ↳ Success isn't a limited resource—there's enough for everyone. ↳ Competing creates stress; celebrating creates opportunity. 2/ 𝗜𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. ↳ People remember who cheered for them before they "made it". ↳ These relationships become your strongest career network. 3/ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. ↳ Their success contains lessons for your own path. ↳ Their strategies become part of your playbook. 4/ 𝗜𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴. ↳ Envy and comparison lead to unhappiness. ↳ Celebration and gratitude foster contentment. 5/ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁. ↳ The energy you put out returns to you. ↳ Those you've supported will be there when it's your turn. I've learned that my time will come, but only if I spend today genuinely supporting others. 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻, 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆? Companies create impossible job descriptions: 5+ years experience for entry-level roles and mastery of tools barely used on the job. Most technical skills can be learned within weeks or months. What truly matters are the qualities that can't be easily taught: → Resilience to persist through challenges. → Curiosity and eagerness to learn. → Adaptability in changing environments. → Emotional intelligence. → Initiative to solve problems. When I moved to America without speaking English, I wasn't "qualified" on paper. Yet I could learn the skills needed. What couldn't be taught was my determination to succeed despite 100+ rejections. Some companies are finally catching on, hiring for potential and teaching technical skills. But too many hide behind unrealistic requirements to avoid training costs. If you've been rejected for lacking specific technical skills—skills you could easily learn—that's not your failure. It's short-sighted recruiting. To hiring managers: Give people a chance. You might discover your next star performer in someone who doesn't check every box but brings the right mindset, work ethic, and potential. Agree?

𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲... I was an extrovert. I was eager to share insights, collaborate, and learn from every conversation. However, as soon as I started working in corporate America, my extroverted nature was over. I remember sitting down with many ideas but unable to say them out loud. It was disheartening to find my voice fading into the background, overshadowed by those who were louder but not necessarily wiser. The office became a place where confidence was equated with volume, not value. It was sad to see my thoughts fade into the background, eclipsed by those who were louder but not necessarily wiser. But, it was a turning point, a journey of transformation that I embarked on. It taught me the power of listening, choosing words precisely, and knowing that actual influence doesn't always come from speaking first but last. Today, I have found strength in my quieter approach. I'm determined to create spaces where all voices are heard. Let's amplify those quieter yet powerful perspectives, acknowledging our challenges in promoting inclusivity in corporate environments. Have you ever felt like you wanted to say something but found yourself unable to do so?

I was REJECTED for an internal position after passing all assessments. This was a very toxic work environment. The manager bullied and demoralized everyone on the team, including me. She FIRED me for being honest and expressing my concerns. Three days later, she offered to come back to my role. I said no, but no, thank you. One year later, an AMAZING job offer came my way. 5 Years later, another terrific job offer came my way. After over 10 years, I realized this was a stepping stone to better opportunities for me. Lessons Learned: 1)Leaving an unhealthy work environment is a blessing. 2)Your value does not decrease based on someone’s opinion of you. 3)If one opportunity doesn't go through, many more opportunities will. 4)Never let anyone underestimate you. 5)You must believe in yourself. Each day drained my spirit, stretching into weeks and months of weariness. It took courage to embrace the truth: it's time to prioritize me. It's not always possible to have your next opportunity waiting in the wings, but understanding this reality is empowering: → Companies may lay you off anytime but can't take away what you build for yourself.  →No paycheck can compensate you if you lose your mental health. → Your Loved ones cannot replace you. These brutal truths taught me that a nurturing work environment trumps salary hikes. Your mental health is your greatest asset, surpassing any paycheck. Here are 7 Key Aspects of a Healthy Culture: 1/ Flexibility in time and location empowers balance, free from guilt. 2/ Great Leadership genuinely invested in your growth. 3/ Transparent conversations foster trust and unity.  4/ Fair compensation that amplifies your worth. 5/ Employees are recognized and appreciated. 6/ Your voice is not just heard—it’s valued. 7/ Taking PTO is encouraged. A salary increase might uplift you momentarily, but a supportive workspace enriches your life every day. Choose a path where well-being and prosperity walk hand in hand. Have you ever regretted staying at a workplace just for salary?

I was so afraid to make mistakes while speaking English that I almost settled for less than what I could accomplish. As a first generation immigrant suffering from imposter syndrome with the English language is a brutal reality for most of us. At first, I was terrified, but I wanted to grow in my career, so I decided to take the challenges and learn the language. It was not easy, but I self-taught myself to overcome it. 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲... I used to think people only wanted to change jobs to earn more money. However, as I gained more experience in the workforce, I realized that other significant factors drive people to switch careers. People need respect and peace in their professional lives, along with financial stability. Respect can be earned through recognition, appreciation, and the opportunity for growth and advancement. 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲... A leader offered me career advice during a job interview. He mentioned that the job posting I was applying for had been filled. However, he also suggested another position that might better suit me and asked if I would like to learn more about it. I said yes and inquired about the specifics of the role. He explained that it was a technical position, and he believed I would be a great fit due to my experience leading Agile programs, which the team needed to succeed in the role. And after only three interview rounds, he gave me the job opportunity. 𝗧𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: your decisions go beyond skills and qualifications. It's also crucial to avoid talking negatively about the recruiter or the company on LinkedIn, where they are likely to see it. I think following a timeline is essential if you haven't heard back from a recruiter after an interview. 1- 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸: Send a thank-you note to show your appreciation for the opportunity. 2- 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀: Follow up by email or phone. 3- 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀: If you are still waiting to hear back after three weeks, assuming you were not selected for the position is safe. At that point, it's best to focus your job search efforts elsewhere. Are you experiencing the disheartening feeling of being ghosted?
