I always found the stuff they put on there hilarious and I saw many names from here that I knew. 

Well, I can say I finally made it.

All it took was a little trash talk. Simple.

Dear rejection,

If it wasn't for all the doors you shut in my face...

I might not be where I am today.

Yes, I didn't land the dream job I thought was made for me.
→ But it led me to a role that not only fit better but had an acquisition that provided a sweet payout.

Yes, my proposal that could influence the company's bottom line was looked down upon.
→ But it helped me swallow my pride and make another one that became the most profitable in their history.

Yes, I was laid off 3 times in my career.
→ But each one pushed me to upskill and network, which led me to create my own successful venture.

The whole list might not fit into a LinkedIn post.

But they taught me every painful "NO" is a "Not yet" in disguise.

How every setback is an opportunity for a step up.

And today, I can proudly pass forward this lesson to everyone.

Never take rejection as a full stop.

To be honest, we are cutting some of these to get even more barebones because it's already pretty inflated.

Efficiency is key.

My daughters will grow up to question everything.

They will be shocked at the realities of life.

But they will challenge any situation where they are:

Told to conform and all the stereotypes
Told to settle for less when they deserve so much more
Told to compromise their dreams to fit societal norms
Told to accept unfair expectations placed on women
Told they’re too ambitious or overreaching

Because I'm making sure their voices will be their power.

Their voices will matter, whether at home, school, or work.

They’ll learn to take charge, not orders.

Their dreams? Non-negotiable.
Their determination? Unwavering.
Their perseverance? Unshakeable.

Society may say otherwise, but they’ll know better.

Their values will guide them as they navigate life.

And make a positive impact on the world.

I can only imagine what the world will look like in 20 years,

But I know my daughters will be ready for it.

P.S. What do you hope to teach your kids?

I'm an introverted marketer.

I know those two words don't sound right together.

Marketers are usually seen as loud and the life-of-the-party types.

So I never felt like I fit in.

- Networking and large group settings were overwhelming.
- I constantly questioned whether I could succeed.
- It was tough to get my ideas across and heard.

But instead of pushing myself to change my nature,

I changed my approach.

I realized being a great marketer means:

- Understanding the audience
- Understanding the market
- Understanding the tech

And who better than introverts to actively listen, observe, and analyze to excel at all three of the above?

I went all in.

And guess what?

I didn't need to be extroverted to add $2 million in pipeline at Alyce.

And I didn't need to be extroverted to close 60% of that.

Embracing who I am is what paid off big time.

Because at the end of the day,

You don't need to be the loudest voice in the room.

You can leverage your quiet strengths and still make a significant impact.

Is the reason no one sees my stuff on this platform anymore because I’m not beefing with someone else?!

Here's the easy solution:

Look around you.

If you’re surrounded by negative influences, it’s no surprise you’re feeling stuck.

I've been there too.

I was at the lowest point of my life as a marketer early on in my career. 

That's when I started searching for my "Board of Advisors."

These weren't your typical mentors.

They were people who lifted me up and inspired me to aim higher. Being around them sparked a transformation.

→ My motivation went to an all-time high.

I was setting ambitious goals, pushing myself further than I ever thought possible.

→ More support flowed in.

These people provided me with invaluable advice whenever I wanted to chicken out.

→ Then opportunities multiplied.

They opened doors I never knew existed. New collaborations, new projects, and a renewed sense of purpose.

They say,

"You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

I used to think it was a cliché.

But today I can't emphasize it enough.

If you want to change your life,

Start by changing your surroundings.

I used to wear overworking like a badge of honor.

- Always available.
- Answering emails late into the night.
- Sacrificing personal time for the sake of deadlines.

I was made to believe that constant hustle and sacrifice were the keys to:

- Recognition and praise from my company
- High six-figure promotions
- Becoming irreplaceable

I was wrong.

It only led to burnout, strained relationships, and lost moments I'll never get back.

Now whenever I hear someone say, "I work the hardest,"

I feel pity for them.

Because this often translates to getting exploited by their boss through:

- Having to respond to messages during personal time.
- Having to work late into the night or when sick.
- Having to cancel vacations for "urgent" work.

If you find yourself caught in these practices, remember:

Your peace and personal life should come first.

It's not normal,

and it’s okay to push back.

Any company that doesn't respect your boundaries and personal life doesn't deserve your dedication.

Your life is irreplaceable.

You can always find a new job,

but you'll never find a new life.

The phrase that kills millions of dreams every day:

"I don't think I'm ready."

Here are some other people who weren't ready:

- Oprah when she took on her first television anchor role.
- Richard Branson when he launched Virgin Records.
- Steve Jobs when he released the first Macintosh.
- Jeff Bezos when he left his job to start Amazon.

They knew the perfect moment would never come.

Their bold actions led to extraordinary achievements.

Success isn’t about always feeling ready.

It’s about taking the leap.

I started my own company this way.

Today, it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever.

Now, we have a thriving business with three parts:

- TACK GTM

The rewards?

- Business growth, even in a tough economy.
- Industry recognition and speaking opportunities.
- Not having to worry about financial stability.

Dare to step up when you want to drop out.

Growth always happens outside of your comfort zone.

But yeah, this one was interesting.

I've been there. We've all been there. Boring, one-way presentations that put people to sleep faster than a bottle of NyQuil. But in 2024, if your webinars aren't engaging, interactive, and valuable as f*ck, you're wasting everyone's time - including your own.

Here are 5 ways to turn your webinars from snoozefests into can't-miss experiences:

1. Ditch the monologue: Stop talking AT people. Start conversations. Use real-time polls, Q&As, and breakout rooms. Get people involved or get out of the game.

2. Bring the energy: If you're not excited, why the hell should your audience be? Pump up the enthusiasm, use storytelling, and for God's sake, show some personality!

3. Less is more: Cut the fluff. Focus on ONE core message and drill it home. Give people actionable takeaways they can implement immediately.

4. Make it visual: Our brains are wired for visuals. Use dynamic slides, live demos, and even props. Anything to break up the monotony and keep eyes glued to the screen.

5. Create FOMO: Exclusive content, limited-time offers, or guest experts. Give people a reason to show up live instead of watching the recording (if you even offer one).

I remember when we overhauled our webinar strategy at VaynerMedia. We went from typical corporate snoozefests to high-energy, interactive experiences. Attendance shot up. Engagement went through the roof. And most importantly, our audience started getting real, tangible value.

Here's the thing: Webinars aren't just about delivering information. They're about creating experiences that stick with people. That inspire action. That make people feel like they're part of something bigger.

So here's my challenge to you: Take a hard look at your next webinar. Are you truly creating value? Are you engaging your audience in meaningful ways? Or are you just going through the motions?
