I got my first job as soon as I knew how to count to 25. Every Saturday, I would count metal pieces in the garage where my father had started the family business. Soon the garage got too small, and the company eventually grew to 100+ employees. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs was the best business school I could have wished for. I saw first hand how far true leadership, hard work and customer-focus can get you. As a little girl, I had the strong feeling that as a grown up, I would also have my own company. After all, it's all I ever knew at that point in my life. I went on to university and started working in a few startups, learning a ton about e-commerce and digital marketing. In 2018, the startup I was working for was struggling, and I got laid off. I was devastated. But on the same day, I decided that it was time to start my own business. I created a LinkedIn consultancy to help women stand out and boost their career. At first, I mainly helped my client optimize their LinkedIn profile for the algorithm. But over time, I started to help them write about themselves. That's when I discovered my love for copywriting and storytelling. One day, I received a newsletter with the subject line: You should write a book. And I instantly knew that a book was in the cards for me. One thing led to another and in 2021, I was invited to be a co-author on the book 60 DAYS TO LINKEDIN MASTERY, which became a Wall Street Journal bestseller instantly. I loved having my own business, but I felt lonely. So I started looking for something new. In 2023, I met with a former colleague who was launching a new startup. I offered to help improve the copywriting on their website, and I ended up with an invitation to join Cotide as a co-founder. At Cotide, I combine AI with my storytelling and copywriting skills to create customer journeys that capture the interest and attention of prospects - for ourselves and for our clients.
