Where are my Amazon recruiters?

When you finally get the offer out to a candidate, a week after the final interview, and they tell you they accepted an offer from a company that only took 48 hours to make a decision:

I don't know who needs to hear this but,

Remote work isn't for everyone,
Hybrid work isn't for everyone
The office 5 days a week isn't for everyone,
The 4-day work week isn't for everyone,
Unlimited PTO isn't for everyone...

It's easy to make sweeping statements online but the reality is much different.

Different people have different preferences.

IMO if you’re waiting a long time for feedback it’s a direct reflection of what it’s going to be like working at the company.

You literally don’t know how many days you have left on earth, 

Yes work hard,
Provide for your family,
Make an impact

But don’t forget to enjoy the moments that matter the most,

Don’t forget who you’re working hard for.

Your next day isn’t guaranteed.
