I am a former journalist who won the European Young Journalist Award from the European Commission, and a recognized female founder in tech by Forbes. 

We are an amazing team of 100 people working remotely all over the world. I love working from home, with my husband who is my co-founder, and also I quite enjoy business travel these days. I am a mother of 3 daughters. And I restarted ballet as an adult! It's great fun.

Last week was the Loyalty Summit CXM event in Copenhagen. I typed the most important info on my phone, so I can now share it with you!!

- We are at a renaissance of loyalty. The pioneers launched the first airline programs (many of them amazing loyalty leaders today!) but today tech like Antavo Loyalty Cloud and others lets us to reward more things than purchases. This can be a differentiator

- Last year fast food and restaurants and coffee shops launched so many loyalty programs! It’s becoming mainstream (so nice)

- The cost of living crises actually helped the spread of loyalty programs 

- Budgets in general shrinked. Expectations grew. (Phew) 

- Different markets need different approaches. E.g. there is a neutral feeling / even skepticism towards loyalty programs in the Netherlands and Denmark - generally wealthier countries. More details at Charlie Hills CLMP

- Today customers KNOW that their data is valuable. They expect benefits in exchange to their data James Howland Dom Winchester talked about it from Nectar

- No need to try very hard to eliminate points and tiers. These are OK, and recognizable.

- For me the most surprising thing: the rise of retail media!!!!! Retailers acting as media companies both on their ecommerce sites and in store, advertising brands - who pay. A whole new revenue stream. Amazing presentation Steve Gray

- Brand partnerships are the new rewards!! Cross pollination is beneficial for both parties. Great panel with Helen Maxfield Georgia Herring and Donna Orman

This integration lets you reward MOVEMENT. Like our customer, the mountainwear retailer Bergzeit can now reward if you go out hiking / doing sports. 

Great, right?

There are other new developments in the Q1/2024 product release, like the integration to Braze!!! So you can deliver carefully targeter messages to loyalty members.

And a better Customer List API, which helps you sync your prebuilt CDR/CRM customer segments straight into Antavo.

It was my first time in Dubai last week. This is how my friend explained me the brief history of the city, which has everything to with BRANDING I think.

1. First there was the desert

2. Cars needed oil, came money

3. Came ambition: a city in the desert by the sea

4. First hotels were built

5. Oil was gone, but the idea, the sea and hotels stayed and sights were built, like the tallest building on Earth

6. More hotels and more sights

7. And this is Dubai as we know it today.

I admire the ambition, architecture and the awards you can receive (hehe I had to 😂 ) when you are there.

I see a plan being realized thanks to a lot of work and branding.
