//THE DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED It happened during a corporate innovation workshop years ago. As I watched yet another brilliant idea suffocate under the weight of process, I saw the spark fade from the team's eyes. In that moment, I made a promise to myself that would reshape my entire career. THE PATTERN I COULDN'T UNSEE Across boardrooms and brainstorming sessions, I witnessed the same story unfold. Brilliant minds with transformative visions hitting the same invisible wall. Their ideas deserved better. THE UNEXPECTED DISCOVERY What began as frustration evolved into curiosity. Could innovation success actually be engineered rather than hoped for? I devoted myself to finding out. Years of experimentation led to an approach so counterintuitive yet effective that it changed everything. By building innovations like a portfolio of startups, we turned the notorious 90% failure rate completely upside down. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT A prominent German corporation took a chance on this method when traditional approaches had failed them repeatedly. Within weeks, we accomplished what they hadn't achieved in years. Word spread quickly. Today, seven of Germany's nine most innovative companies have invited me into their inner circles. From global enterprises to nimble startups, leaders come when they need certainty, not just possibility. BEYOND THE METHOD After over 15 years and countless successful market launches, I still feel that same rush when I see an innovation finally connect with its audience. There's simply nothing like watching something powerful emerge from what was once just an idea on a whiteboard. My engineering background gave me the tools, but it was immersing myself in the human elements of innovation that revealed the true path forward. When leaders invite me to guide their most important initiatives, they're not just getting a process – they're gaining a partner who's navigated this terrain countless times before. I only commit to journeys I truly believe in, because I've learned that extraordinary innovation requires both methodology and genuine connection to purpose. //ANOTHER JOB.... FULLY AUTOMATED Just spotted: A robotic system perfectly laying tile with precision that rivals master craftsmen. Only a few months ago, the consensus was clear - skilled trades like tiling required the human touch, the finesse developed through years of experience. "Craftmanship can never be automated," we said confidently. And now this. The machine you see here completes in hours what would take days for human workers. _Perfect spacing. _Flawless alignment. _No breaks, no complaints, no variation in quality from morning to evening. This isn't just about tiling - it's a glimpse into how quickly the "automation-proof" jobs are disappearing. The skills we once thought uniquely human are being replicated by silicon and steel. P.S. What are your thoughts? Which crafts do you still believe will remain in human hands? And how should we prepare for this accelerating shift? ——— Chances your innovation strategy is broken are 94% https://lnkd.in/dexsVrw8 #innovation #innoweek #venturestudio #companybuilder #startupstudio #vc All rights and credits are reserved to the respective owner(s).  Contact me to add you as a reference or content removal. ♻️ Repost to help your network to bring their ideas to market.  And follow Dipl.-Ing. //CEO: WE ARE VERY CLOSE TO LAUNCHING OUR NEW INNOVATION Translation: We've been polishing the same features for 8 months because Karen from Marketing thinks the button should be 2 pixels to the left and Dave from Engineering insists we need to solve world hunger before shipping a calculator app. Here's the thing about perfect products: > They don't exist. > They never have. > They never will. The iPhone launched without copy-paste. Google's first homepage looked like it was designed by a computer science student in 1995 because it was. Facebook started as a way for college kids to rate each other's attractiveness. Yet here we are, trapped in boardrooms debating whether our revolutionary productivity app should have rounded corners with a 4px or 5px radius while our competitors are actually, you know, competing. The brutal truth about innovation: Your first version will be embarrassing. Customers will use your product in ways you never imagined. The feature you spent 6 months perfecting? Nobody will care. The thing you threw together in an afternoon? That'll be the game-changer. Stop trying to birth the perfect digital baby. Ship something that works, learn from real users, and iterate like your survival depends on it because it does. Remember: > Done is better than perfect. > Shipped is better than polished. > Feedback is better than assumptions. Your innovation isn't a sculpture in a museum. It's a living, breathing thing that gets better by existing in the real world, not in your conference room. P.S. Now stop reading LinkedIn posts and go launch something imperfect. What's the longest you've delayed a launch for just one more feature? Share your horror stories below. P.S. This is exactly what we help our partners to achieve with our innovation factory. //THERE'S NOTHING MORE DANGEROUS THAN YESTERDAY'S SUCCESS. Your company is dying right now and you don't even know it. You're sitting in those leather chairs, celebrating last quarter's numbers, patting each other on the back for hitting targets that were set when flip phones were still a thing. Meanwhile, your customers are already falling in love with someone else. Success is a slow poison. It makes you fat, lazy, and blind. It convinces you that the rules don't apply to you anymore. That your market position is permanent. That loyalty is forever. But loyalty is a myth your grandfather believed in. I see it everywhere. Companies drunk on their own success, treating innovation like an expensive hobby instead of life support. They mistake their current revenue for future relevance. They confuse being busy with being useful. Here's the brutal truth nobody wants to hear: your customers don't care about your history. They care about their future. And if you're not obsessed with creating that future, someone else already is. The graveyard of business is full of companies that were "too big to fail." Kodak invented the digital camera then buried it because it threatened film sales. Blockbuster had the chance to buy Netflix for 50 million and laughed them out of the room. Your biggest risk isn't your competition. It's your comfort. Every day you choose comfort over change, you're choosing irrelevance over immortality. What are you protecting that's actually killing you? ——— Chances your innovation strategy is broken are 94% https://lnkd.in/dexsVrw8 #innovation #innoweek #venturestudio #companybuilder #startupstudio #vc

//AI-POWERED "GRANNY" THAT TALKS TO SCAMMERS TO WASTE THEIR TIME Just Awesome! O2 just rolled out Daisy, an AI-powered "granny" that chats up scammers with long, winding conversations just to waste their time! 👏 Created with the help of YouTuber Jim Browning, Daisy gets placed on scam call lists so she can keep scammers busy instead of them going after real victims. Every minute scammers spend with Daisy means another minute that real people are safe from being scammed. Honestly, this has to be one of the coolest uses of AI I've seen! P.S. //THIS IMAGE SHOULD TERRIFY US ALL This taxi driver in Hong Kong manages 10+ phones simultaneously, juggling Uber, DiDi, and countless other ride-hailing apps. His entire dashboard is a wall of glowing screens. At first glance, you might think: Wow, what hustle. What dedication. But look closer. This isn't innovation. This is desperation dressed up as productivity. We've created a world where a human being needs to become a human switchboard just to make a living. Where success means surrendering your peace of mind to an army of devices that never stop demanding attention. Smartphones were supposed to make life easier. Instead, we've become their servants. Sometimes less is more. The most successful people I know have learned to say no. No to the extra app. No to the constant notifications. No to the myth that more connectivity equals more success. They've realized that smartphones have become an illness and the cure isn't another device or platform. It's remembering what actually makes us human. Real conversations. Focused work. Moments of silence. The ability to be present. This taxi driver deserves better than 10 screens competing for his attention while he navigates traffic. We all do. What would your life look like if you focused on what's truly good for you as a human being? ——— Chances your innovation strategy is broken are 94% https://lnkd.in/dexsVrw8 #innovation #innoweek #venturestudio #companybuilder #startupstudio #vc All rights and credits are reserved to the respective owner(s).  Contact me to add you as a reference or content removal. ♻️ Repost to help your network to bring their ideas to market.  And follow Dipl.-Ing. //THE MOST ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR 2030? It's not about technical skills anymore. This chart from the World Economic Forum illustrates the skills that employers believe will be most significant by 2030. In the upper-right quadrant—skills that are currently essential and anticipated to increase in importance—we observe: > Analytical thinking > Resilience, flexibility & agility > Leadership & social influence > Motivation & self-awareness > Creative thinking > Systems thinking > Curiosity & lifelong learning These skills are not niche; rather, they serve as fundamental forces driving innovation. While technological literacy, along with AI and data skills, is important, the majority of the emerging competencies extend beyond technical expertise. They focus on the ways individuals think, adapt, lead, and execute in a rapidly evolving environment. This is precisely why we created Innoweek© - a systematic framework designed to assist individuals, teams, and organizations in taking their ideas to market and testing them with genuine purchasing customers to: _Overcome Guesswork _Getting unstuck _Finally, see results P.S. //WHY ORIGAMI FOLDING ROBOTS REVOLUTIONISING HEALTHCARE The precision engineering behind origami-inspired robots is transforming modern medicine in ways we never imagined. These remarkable machines can unfold intricate origami patterns with incredible precision—and that's just the beginning. → They handle complex surgical tasks with unmatched speed, dramatically boosting operational efficiency → These robotic assistants tirelessly support human surgeons during lengthy procedures, never experiencing fatigue → They enable surgeries requiring only tiny incisions, promoting faster recovery and significantly less pain for patients Imagine the profound impact on patient care and recovery times! The operating room is undergoing a revolution. Surgeons can now focus their expertise more effectively as robots handle repetitive and physically demanding tasks. But the transformation extends beyond surgery. As our aging population grows, robots are becoming vital companions in assisted living environments: - Providing meaningful social interaction and emotional support - Assisting with routine activities to enhance senior independence - Following in the footsteps of pioneering robots like Sophia, already tested in elderly and pediatric care While the benefits are tremendous, we must address several challenges: - Ethical considerations around privacy, data security, and AI bias - Maintaining proper human oversight and supervision Robots can become valuable companions and supporters in our healthcare journey, but we must never forget that humans fundamentally need other humans. //WHY DIVERSE TEAMS ARE MORE SUCCESSFUL? What we found out in more than 700 innovation projects: The more diverse the teams working on new products or services, the higher the likelihood of success. Not only should the team have a good mix of males and females, but also include individuals from diverse backgrounds. It's often the case that those who have not studied, lack a degree, or are not in leadership positions contribute the most valuable input to our projects. It's important to not only break up the silos and include a representative from every department in your innovation projects, but also to have people with diverse perspectives and a mix of genders, in order to achieve the best results. P.S. Yep, we did that wrong too. For example, we developed a new beauty product for young women with a team consisting almost entirely of men. 🤦🏼 ——— Chances your innovation strategy is broken are 94% https://lnkd.in/dexsVrw8 #innovation #innoweek #venturestudio #companybuilder #startupstudio #vc All rights and credits are reserved to the respective owner(s).  Contact me to add you as a reference or content removal. ♻️ Repost to help your network to bring their ideas to market.  And follow Dipl.-Ing. //WHEN SCIENCE FICTION BECOMES REALITY... Remember those hoverbikes from Star Wars that made us dream of zooming through forests on Endor? What once lived only in our imagination has now landed in our reality. Just witnessed the Volonaut Airbike in action - a personal hoverbike that looks straight out of a sci-fi film. The sleek design, hovering capabilities, and futuristic aesthetic aren't just movie magic anymore. It's fascinating how yesterday's science fiction consistently becomes today's innovation. From communicators (smartphones) to talking computers (voice assistants), and now personal flight vehicles - the line between imagination and reality continues to blur. //IT'S ONLY IMPOSSIBLE UNTIL SOMEONE DOES IT! Everyone said this shot was impossible. _The angle was wrong. _The path was blocked. _The physics didn't add up. But watch what happens when someone refuses to accept "impossible" as an answer... This is exactly how breakthrough startups are born. > Airbnb: "Nobody will stay in strangers' homes" > Tesla: "Electric cars will never go mainstream" > Netflix: "People love going to video stores" > Uber: "Regulated taxis are the only way" Every game-changing innovation started with someone looking at an "impossible" shot and thinking: "What if there's another way?" The magic isn't in having perfect conditions. It's in seeing angles others miss. It's in calculating risks others won't take. It's in executing with precision when everyone else sees chaos. The greatest entrepreneurs are like master snooker players: _They study the table (market) obsessively _They see connections others can't _They take calculated risks that look crazy to spectators _They execute with surgical precision _They make the impossible look inevitable Your "impossible" idea isn't impossible. It's just waiting for someone with the vision to see the shot, the courage to take it, and the skill to execute it. What "impossible" shot are you avoiding in your industry? Drop a comment and tell me about the "impossible" problem you're secretly thinking about solving. Because somewhere out there, someone is about to prove it's not impossible at all. //STEVE JOBS TOOK 18 SECONDS TO THINK ABOUT HIS ANSWER TO THIS GREAT QUESTION We're obsessed with quick responses in today's fast-paced world. But true wisdom often requires patience. When asked what he learned at Apple that he was applying at NeXT, Steve Jobs didn't rush. He paused for a full 18 seconds - an eternity in conversation - before delivering this profound insight: "I now take a longer term view on people. When I see something not being done right, my first reaction isn't to go fix it. It's to say: We're building a team here and we're gonna do great stuff for the next decade, not just the next year. So what do I need to do to help so that the person that's screwing up learns?" This perspective shift is everything. The best leaders don't just solve immediate problems - they invest in people's growth. Next time you're tempted to swoop in and "fix" something, ask yourself: what would happen if I invested those 18 seconds in thinking about the long game instead? P.S. Great leadership isn't about having all the answers. Sometimes it's about having the patience to ask better questions. //THE SKILL WE REALLY SHOULD TEACH OUR CHILDREN While we obsess over coding and STEM education, we're missing the one skill that will truly future-proof our kids: human collaboration. As artificial intelligence reshapes every industry, the ability to work effectively with others isn't just valuable—it's essential for survival in tomorrow's workplace. >> Why collaboration trumps everything else When AI can write code, analyze data, and even create art, what's left for humans? The messy, beautiful complexity of working together. The spark that happens when different minds tackle a problem. The emotional intelligence to navigate conflict and build trust. These aren't skills you can download or automate. They're developed through years of practice, starting in childhood. Simple ways to build collaborative superpowers Start with play: Transform everyday activities into team challenges. Instead of individual Lego building, create shared construction projects where kids must negotiate space, share resources, and build on each other's ideas. Embrace productive conflict: When siblings argue over a game, don't just separate them. Guide them through the disagreement. Help them articulate their perspectives, listen to each other, and find solutions together. Make failure a team sport: Whether it's a science experiment gone wrong or a failed attempt at building a fort, teach kids to analyze what didn't work as a group. This builds resilience and shows them that setbacks are learning opportunities, not personal failures. The collaboration advantage Children who master these skills early don't just become better teammates—they become natural leaders. They learn to see problems from multiple angles, communicate their ideas clearly, and inspire others to contribute their best work. In a world where AI handles the routine, these kids will be the ones designing the questions worth asking, building the relationships that matter, and creating solutions that no algorithm could imagine. The future belongs to those who can bring out the best in others. Let's give our children that gift. //THAT ONE EMPLOYEE WHO CAN RUN YOUR BUSINESS BETTER THAN YOU CAN Ever watched a skilled sheepdog at work? I just saw the most incredible video of a border collie effortlessly controlling an entire flock of sheep in seconds - while its owner simply stood back and watched in awe. It got me thinking about those rare employees who just "get it." The ones who can: _Intuitively understand your vision without micromanagement _Anticipate problems before they arise _Execute with precision that sometimes exceeds your own _Work independently with minimal direction These natural leaders don't need constant instructions. They've mastered their craft through years of practice, just like that sheepdog. They understand the big picture and execute flawlessly. The question isn't how to control these exceptional team members - it's how to empower them. When you find this kind of talent, your job shifts from manager to enabler.
