I love seeing how partnerships are evolving.
Had another great chat now with a Partner Manager at a Fortune 100 which reinforced everything I believe about where partnerships are heading.

Partner management just isn't what it used to be. 

While everyone's been talking about endless relationship building, playbooks, meetings and color-coded spreadsheets, I'm watching a new breed of partner managers quietly reshape the game.

Met with a few of them last week and none of them had the "traditional" partnership background, but wow - their fresh perspective is exactly what this industry needs. 

They're bringing their sales experience, their customer success mindset, and most importantly, their creativity to solve real problems.

Seems that the best partner managers today aren't just "relationship builders". They're growth drivers who know exactly how to use data and new tools to prove their partnerships' value. No fluff, just results.

What excites me most? 
Seeing people who joined the partnership world recently outperform veterans simply because they're not bound by "this is how we've always done it."

Standing with Kevin Ryan and Yuval Passov from Google for Startups, I felt in every fiber, like we are aligned on a shared mission to push the boundaries of what’s possible. 

Kevin (AlleyCorp) who co-founded MongoDB, Business Insider, Gilt, Zola, Pearl Health, and more, shared a simple yet profound truth at the Google for Startups Israel event this morning: 
“Everything that has pushed the world forward in the last 30 years, started as a start-up.”

It sounds obvious, but hearing this from someone who was there when Sergey Brin and Larry Page worked in a tiny room on a project called Google, and when Jeff Bezos was mapping out his 25-year plan and Elon Musk was at the start of his journey, was a powerful reminder of what true vision looks like. 
Every day we are blessed with the opportunity to build a better future.
It’s about recognizing potential early, investing time, and growing together.
(You need to be open to recognizing opportunity and potential in order to see it.)

This resonates with me not only as a founder but also as a mother. Whether nurturing a child or building a business, it’s about seeing the possibilities in something small and believing in its future. 
It’s about guiding it as it grows and giving it the best chance to thrive.

In our one-on-one conversation, Kevin and I discussed the shift toward leveraging partner ecosystems for growth. I shared how even leaders like MongoDB now see over 80% of their new business influenced by partners, yet many companies are missing out because they don’t know what they don’t know. They struggle with fragmented data and blind spots that hold them back from unlocking their full potential. This morning, I found myself sitting among some of the most accomplished tech leaders—experienced entrepreneurs from different sectors, in the magnificent Microsoft offices. As we listened to a deeply moving talk by Izhar Shay. I realized during his moving painful and empowering talk, that we all had red, puffy eyes. We’d been crying. Finally.

Last night, we were in our bomb shelters. For me it meant stopping a zoom to run the sleeping kids to safety, resettle them and then go back to the meeting.
Yet, this morning, we showed up. Again.

We showed up because that’s what leaders do. Because amidst the pain, the uncertainty, and the challenges, there’s work that matters. 

For me, it’s about building technology that empowers businesses to grow in scalable, sustainable ways through strong, optimized partnerships.

Collaboration isn’t just a strategy—it’s a lifeline. 

Today was a stark reminder of why we build ecosystems and why partnerships are so powerful. 

It’s not just about driving growth; it’s about resilience, unity, and showing up, even when it’s hard.

Since founding Zugit  I’ve learned that success isn’t just about market potential or product fit (though I’m thrilled about what we’re building). It’s about showing up—consistently, authentically, and with purpose.

Last night’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) Founders Club Annual Event was a perfect reminder of why the right partnerships matter.

As AWS CEO Adam Selipsky put it, “Our partner ecosystem has been a fundamental plank of AWS strategy since day one, and it remains so.” It’s clear why AWS has prioritized building such a strong network—it’s where real growth and innovation happen.

The evening was filled with raw, honest conversations: founders swapping lessons, investors sharing candid advice, and everyone diving into real challenges. Some highlights:

	•	A moment I loved was when a fellow woman founder from my community pulled me aside, pointed out someone she’d strategically been waiting to meet, and said she wasn’t leaving until she made the connection. We exchanged a look of mutual determination—both of us were on a mission.... Late last night after the event, I got a message from her: “Reached him and got the intro!” Go her, and go our community of focused female founders out for the night, determined to grow our businesses.

	•	Also, overheard a founder nervously pitching his startup to an investor, only for the investor to interrupt with, ‘Stop pitching, I’m already in. Now tell me how I can help you win.’ It’s amazing to see live investors so ready to jump in and want to support beyond the funding.

	•	Loved having a spontaneous discussion about Zugit with an investor and realizing our tech platform aligns perfectly with their portfolio company’s struggles—a moment of real-time validation that never gets old.

Ended the night with a deep dive into the frustrations surrounding channel partnerships and ecosystem-led growth. The consensus was clear: everyone knows they need to focus on the channel and is trying to, and whether companies are drowning in partner data or struggling because they lack enough of it, they’re unable to get the insights needed to drive real ecosystem-led growth.
Some businesses are buried under mountains of unorganized partner data, while others can’t even access the information they need. 
Either way, they’re leaving millions in untapped revenue on the table.

It’s rare to hear someone so talented and experienced open by saying, “We’re still far from our vision, and 99% of the time, we’re getting it wrong.” 
That kind of humility and self-awareness is a breath of fresh air in a world where everyone seems eager to claim they’re at the forefront of innovation.

	•	Map It Out: Know where they’ll be. Speaking? Hosting an event? At the booth? Plan your moves like a pro. (If you need help on that, comment)

⏰ Own the Morning

	•	Skip the late-night parties and be the first one there in the morning. Yes, even if coffee isn’t your thing. Those quiet early moments are where the unexpected magic happens.

	•	No one came to AWS just to hear about your product. Focus on them: their world, their challenges, their vision.

Why does it feel like your channel partnerships are stuck?

I really want to share this because I’ve been hearing from so many partnership leaders lately. They’re struggling—not because they’re not good at what they do, but because of the way their teams are resourced. It’s a pattern I’m seeing across businesses, and honestly, it’s something that can change with the right mindset.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re falling short compared to “the big players” in partnerships—like Microsoft or Salesforce—you’re not alone. Many partnership leaders come from larger corporations where partnerships were heavily invested in. But when they transition to younger companies, they face a reality check:
	•	Partnerships are often under-resourced.
	•	CFOs and CEOs (who don’t typically come from partnership backgrounds) are understandably cautious, waiting for data and proof before investing heavily.

This friction is real, but here’s the shift that needs to happen:
Instead of chasing the best, focus on being your best.

Zoom out and ask yourself:
	•	What can we do right now with the resources we have?
	•	How can we maximize the potential of the partners we already have to drive real results?

This is the time of year when many businesses—and leaders—feel uncertain about their plans. If that’s you, now is the moment to assess. Instead of chasing an ideal that doesn’t align with your current reality, lean into what’s actually possible for your team and your business.

Be your best, not the best.
