Yesterday, I tested out a theory of mine that I (to this point) had been representing as fact.

Great news! I was proven right. I will continue to advise others to do this. Story below:

I've been posting pretty consistently. Almost every day for the last few weeks.

My engagement & impressions on those posts have been much less than they were at my peak of posting (2022-2023).

Using my previously mentioned theory is how I improved this. 

When I scheduled my Wednesday, March 27th post, I also blocked off the 30 mins before the post was set to go live on my own calendar.

In those 30 mins, I did nothing but engage with the posts of others on LinkedIn.

My theory: Increased engagement FROM your account RIGHT BEFORE a post goes live leads to increased impressions TO your post.

This approach led to a 200% increase in my post impressions. 

And all it took was 30 mins of scrolling, liking, and commenting.

You gotta give....to get.

Do with this knowledge what you wish!

No shows are horrible. A waste of everyone's time. 

Here is our standard operating procedures that reduced no shows to negligible numbers. 

Ultimately the quality of the conversation makes the biggest difference. 
Prospects that are keen almost always show up. 
Prospects that do not see this as a priority, might not. 

Your SDR and your AE can both play a role. But here is the SDR's side.

The perfect meeting booking procedure for an SDR

All of your B2B tech are basically excel sheets and or .csv files... 

What makes them profit drivers is a process focused on winning big for your customers with the least amount of lift for your team. 

This is why even though it might be difficult in the moment, most tech operations and enablement projects need to start with discovering the process and making sure that it focuses on winning big for your customers with the least amount of lift for your team. 

I've received some questions, and several seem ideal as the basis of a post.

1. Will #math or #science solve the problem of #causality?

"Solve" is a big word.  #Solve implies total resolution, a complete answer to a question.  

It's also fundamentally antithetical to what it means as a human being to #learn.

We learn our entire life. Sometimes the learning is cumulative, and sometimes it is corrective.  Science and math are tools by which we learn.  Neither is a tool that promises perfection nor even a complete answer.  

Why?  Because a complete answer would mean that there's nothing we do not know, or more specifically, nothing we don't know that we don't know.

This said, knowledge and understanding are not zero-sum.  We all operate on a continuum, and that mixture of understanding and ignorance does not invalidate what we know. 

This should make us humble about what we think we understand so far.  But it does not diminish the power nor the relevance of math and science.

2. Do #businesses face problems that math and science #cannotsolve?

Very much yes.  Again, one limitation wrt this question is in the use of the word #Solve. "Solve" is something very close to a determinant outcome, a definitive answer. Changing circumstances alone make this a moot point. 

Questions of morality, ethics, purpose, leadership, etc -- indeed the essential motivations of the human heart -- also are opaque to math and science unless people expose them accurately, and even then it is simple statistical analysis of frequency and effect.  Math and science very often hinge on population-level behavior because any one individual is statistically irrelevant as the basis for understanding a larger group.

3. How do you determine which problems science and math #can or #cannot solve?

Math and science require variables that are observable, that can be experienced (using that word very comprehensively).  Metaphysics are often understood through Belief, given that many aspects of "the study of reality and existence" (Aristotle) are not directly observable. God is an example. For many years prior to the creation of force sensors, Wind also was considered a metaphysical thing because while clearly extant, it was not visible.  And while it was once understood as the "messenger of divine intervention," science and math replaced that interpretation with a far more physical explanation.

As mentioned above, a common theme in these questions is the word "Solve." A potential implication of these questions is a questioning of math and science's validity as an answer generator in comparison to metaphysics. 

We also have tended to use metaphysics to explain those things we have no science or math for...yet.

In the end, both science and metaphysics have many of the same #human based limitations re the "solving" of any question, as neither is the font of all knowledge, all understanding, or all wisdom.

Kurt Vonnegut said that any character who makes it into a good story should have one clear thing that they want...

Might be a profitable exercise for adding contacts to your CRM.
