Sales is broken, creativity has been lost, people have become less important than the products we push, and sellers live out the definition of insanity on a daily basis… 👈🏻 That’s why we need a Rebellion 🔥 To understand my Sales Rebellion, first you need to hear and acknowledge the role my Father played in my life. His legacy is one of integrity, perseverance, and service to others. I spent my life in the shadow of one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth and I am eternally grateful for his amazing example. I realized my initial calling in the Technology world through his business and also just how much fun I had being in a sales role. You might have heard rumors of me...back when they called me, The Copier Warrior. in 2017 I moved on from the company I had represented for my entire career in sales, I made this decision after my Dad’s passing (see my shared articles for the saddest story I have ever told). I stayed in the copier industry for 2 more years before launching my Rebellion. Then, in 2019, The Sales Rebellion was born. My conquest of changing the game has expanded beyond my role as an individual contributor in the sales world. Now I am a sales trainer, teaching the masses (both individuals and entire companies) how to choose legendary for their sales career. No longer will the mediocre rule throughout our profession. It is time for a Sales Rebellion to rise. I believe in Radically Educating your prospects on a first touch. I believe in Responses, good or bad, but never indifferent. I believe your Territory is your Community, we enable Sales Wanderers. I believe your Pipeline is Alive. I believe people are more than just a signature for your deal. I believe in fellowship over negotiations. No matter your title... Hey everyone, please don’t use my name in your outreach emails. People think I endorse your company when in fact, I don’t even know it. I’ve received enough messages from people saying… “You know this company?” For me to just let it slide. Two things: #1 - I do not post content about scaling smarter and faster with things like cold emails Matter of fact, if you know me, you know that I HATE the word “scaling” #2 - I would never endorse something claiming 99% accuracy around data That’s just silly to me So please, for the love of everything. Don’t use my name in your outreach emails. It’s deceiving to some people. And just not cool. Also… Write your emails yourself and don’t use ChatGPt/AI - it’s real obvious.

She told us: “we have competing proposals and I need you to justify why we should choose yours.” On top of that, when we arrived, our contact seemed distant and very closed off to sharing info with us. My Dad figured it was because someone drastically undercut him on price This is the way the copier world works… “Do what it takes to get the sale” mentality. Everything revolving around price as the strategy. He stayed patient and just asked questions centered around what we were accomplishing for the client and what gaps or indiscretions she was experiencing between proposals And stayed away from price altogether About halfway through the meeting Our contact broke down a little She was having a hard time And since my Dad put on his human hat instead of his sales hat… And treated this women with respect and dignity and didn’t focus soly on the “deal” He wasn’t transactional with her He was genuine and authentic And in turn… She told us that she’d been diagnosed with cancer the day before and was still mentally getting through the news. My Dad stopped the meeting and asked: “May I please pray over you.” It was a beautiful moment and this same woman was also at my Dad’s funeral several years later when we lost him to cancer. The sale is temporary, Rebels. What you build with your community is forever. Seek to build your legacy while being more than just a fast talking head slanging deals left and right… Become a legend instead. Because legends never die.
