TL;DR I help aspiring sales leaders who want to make a difference become Salesblazers™️. Salesblazers are high-performers turned leaders. They don't care about titles. They care about influencing positive change for the sake of others. They care about people over profit and scaling impact over income. The byproduct? - You earn more - You earn your title - You become dispensable. - You become worthy of remark. - You earn the freedom to do your best work. Your work or your quota does not define the level of your impact. Your why, your mindset, and your actions do. I can help you build an influential career you can be proud of. And I can help you make become that leader you wish you had. HOW IT ALL BEGAN: THE WHOLE STORY For my entire childhood, everything I did revolved around one thing: becoming a surgeon. I quickly learned I didn't want to become a surgeon during my studies. What I wanted to do was to make a difference and leave a mark. But, I fell into a sales career. While starting on the right foot, that sales career quickly crashed and burned. Needing to support my growing family, I had no other option but to go back to my mission, shift my perspective, and get aligned with my company. It was at that moment that my career skyrocketed. I went on to build and manage multi-million dollar territories, successfully replicate myself with better people and build teams, pioneer product launches and regions, and help numerous customer-partners land consulting contracts that have helped build their brand. What did I learn? Sales was not something to be ashamed of, for to sell is human. I didn't have to sell and lose my soul. But I could use my sales platform as the vehicle by which I could make that childhood dream of making a difference come true. I could go beyond the sale and enrich the lives of others. I had to learn to lead and influence not just my customer but my teammates, all without fancy titles. I had to give up my ego and pride, humble myself, and seek to serve others.

Success does not guarantee happiness. You can have all the success in the world and still fail. Most people: • Do more • Want to get rich • Chase what's easy • Pursue what's popular The result? More noise, no peace. More busyness, no effectiveness. More first great impressions, but no impact. More responsibility, not more personal growth. More people to manage, but not present for the right ones. Same life. Year after year. True success means: • Faithful to finish your mission • Being excellent in all you do • Impacting people's lives • Not losing your soul Remember: It's not about winning president's club. It's not about having the biggest team. It's not about how much money you have. It's not about being popular or liked by everyone. It's about keeping your promises to the people God has placed in your life. It's about doing more good, better. Right where you are. The secret? Anybody can do this. No skills, talent, or titles necessary. All you need is the following: 1️⃣ A Personal Leadership Blueprint ↳ A living document of your why, purpose, convictions, values, skills, passions, vision, people you need around you, anti-goals, etc. ↳ I go back to this document before tackling anything new and/or big. 2️⃣ A Personal advisory board ↳ A group of wise and mature people, young and old, that know you and can speak into your life. ↳ This board can change from season to season and need to need. 3️⃣ A system ↳ Ben Meer says systems are "A collection of habits that share a common purpose + Tech-enabled tools (quantifying, tracking, automating) + Continuous Optimization." ↳ Systems + the right purpose sow seeds of success in the right direction. They also sustain success. Without them, you can't scale your impact. What will you do this next week to show up at things that matter most?
Building a sales career is not rocket science. 7 truths to accelerate your career that nobody tells you about 👇 1. You don't need permission from your boss. ↳Taking initiative does not need to be earned. ↳Don't wait to be told to take initiative. 2. Expertise is overrated. ↳Nobody likes a know-it-all. Instead, be curious. ↳Never stop learning about your customers and your craft. 3. Individual contributor is an oxymoron. ↳High-impact sellers don't do it all themselves. ↳Get coached, gain a mentoring team, and discover an internal champion. 4. Don't wait to be asked to take out the trash. ↳There is a difference between being willing to serve and creating opportunities to serve. Take initiative to serve customers and teammates. 5. Do what is right, no matter what. ↳Be the same person behind closed doors as you are in front of others. ↳Even if it costs you. 6. Systems sow seeds of success. ↳ James Clear says it well, "You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems." 7. Stop exceeding everyone's expectations. ↳You don't need to climb the same ladder or follow the same rules as everyone else. ↳Instead, create a new standard that challenges the status quo. Own these, and you will skyrocket your career. The opportunity is out there. Go upgrade your career. What did I miss?
A lack of skills is not holding you back from a promotion. Here's what is... Hard skills will get you in the door of a company. Soft skills will open up doors for upward mobility. But this one thing keeps you and gives you impact: Character. ↳Character sustains you and keeps you in the room. ↳Character is what keeps you disciplined to learn "hard" skills. ↳Character is the source of all your soft skills. ↳Character is what dignifies your goals and directs your abilities toward enriching the lives of others. Stop worrying about what skills you have and don't have. Start worrying about the person you are becoming. Everything falls or rises with your character. Who you are will tell me a lot about your potential to learn the skills necessary to get the job done. What do you think are the most important traits someone needs to have to become a leader? In 2021, I rejected my dream job. And all that came with it: - Fancy title - Diversified - More money - National influence - Unlimited benefits - My own career ladder - Accelerated career growth The role was everything I would create in a perfect world. But I had to turn it down. Why? Because of everything I would lose: - A great culture heading in the right direction - Freedom to do my best work on my terms - Freedom to manage my calendar - Church influence and leadership - Trust that comes with longevity - Opportunity to craft a culture - Work still left to do here - Friendships - Family Nothing wrong with accepting or rejecting any of those things. What's wrong is going against your convictions for what matters most in life. For me, I would lose what was most important to me. And that's priceless. I would have made the worst decision of my life and career if it weren't for my personal leadership blueprint. This living document outlines my calling, the people I am meant to serve, the individuals I need in my life to stay on my mission, the niche I bring to the world, and other key aspects. It is my compass when making decisions. It reminds me of where I am going and what I need to avoid. What are other decision-making factors you would add to your personal leadership blueprint?
The best companies champion character over commission. Character produces a seller’s most valuable asset: Trust.
The biggest mistake I made in my 17 years of building an influential sales career: Not being generous. Not monetarily, that's easy. But sacrificial with everything else. Now, I give away my: - Expertise to customers with zero strings attached - Strengths & skills to develop others - Time in the trenches with our reps - Ideas to improve our organization Giving binds people into a community. True givers don't give to get but to inspire others to give of themselves to the world. What steps can you take to advance the world around you?
Take your work seriously, but not yourself seriously. One of the greatest mindsets for doing great work without running over people: - Think of yourself less (& others more) - You’re not that important - Commit unwaveringly to your mission - Leave a mark on those you serve - Decide to involve the skills and talents of your team - Have fun Nobody likes to work with arrogant jerks. The humble way, while more challenging, brings everybody together to accomplish your important work. How do you ensure your ego does not get in your way of doing great work?
A toxic workplace is likely to change 99% of people. But that doesn't have to be you. How to be the 1% 👇 ❌ Stop allowing the culture to change you. ✅ Start crafting the culture you wish you had, even if it's your cubicle. ❌ Stop isolating. ✅ Start a tribe of people with a reputation for figuring things out. ❌ Stop waiting for permission. ✅ Start leading, even if you don't have a title. ❌ Stop ignoring your boss. ✅ Start swallowing the frog for your boss. ❌ Stop quiet quitting. ✅ Start working hard. The grass is only green where you water it. Being changed by a toxic workplace is a choice. Choose to make change happen. But sometimes you water, water, water, but you need new soil. And that's okay. How would you help someone struggling in a toxic workplace? If you have a TGIM culture, give a shoutout here 👇
Broken cultures love this motto: Profit over people. Healthy, remarkable cultures avoid it. We see this motto lived out best in who they promote and pay. Broken and toxic cultures reward high performers who destroy relationships. Healthy cultures reward high-impact people who not only achieve results but make everyone around them better. Ironically, prioritizing people leads to profit. What signs point to a healthy vs. broken culture during the interview process?
