3 signs it might be time to move on (and none of them mean you’ve failed) 1. You’re no longer growing You’ve mastered your role. But now you’re coasting. The learning curve’s gone. And no one’s investing in your next chapter. 2. You feel invisible You show up. You deliver. But your ideas get bypassed. Your wins go unrecognized. And it’s starting to wear on you. 3. You’re constantly drained Every Monday feels heavier. You’re not just tired, you’re numb. You’ve lost the spark that used to drive you. And “toughing it out” now feels like self-betrayal. Here’s the truth: Staying stuck comes at a cost. Quitting isn't weakness. Struggling isn’t failure. Wanting more doesn’t make you ungrateful. Your next move doesn’t need to be dramatic. It just needs to be right for you. So if this hit home, consider this your green light: To explore. To be curious. To go where you can grow. To choose being valued over just being present. What’s one small sign you’ve been ignoring lately? Drop it in the comments (or just sit with it). ♻️ Repost to help someone trust their next step. 👤 Follow for more honest career clarity.
You’re allowed to outgrow what you’re known for. Your job. Your resume. Even your reputation. Where you start doesn’t have to limit where you finish. Just ask Ferruccio Lamborghini. He started out building tractors. Nowhere near the world of high-performance supercars. But after buying a Ferrari, he spotted flaws he couldn’t ignore. So, he put his engineering skills to work. He went from tractors to supercars. From industrial to iconic. And today? Lamborghini is worth $12B. So, next time you're second-guessing your next step, remember these 3 pivotal lessons from Lamborghini: 1. Discomfort is direction ↳ Pay attention to what it’s trying to tell you. 2. Reinvention is a decision ↳ It starts the moment you stop settling. 3. Expertise transfers ↳ You’re more qualified than you think. Here’s what I know... Everything changes when you stop waiting for permission and start backing your potential. You don’t need a sign-off to start over. You don’t need a perfect plan. You just have to start. Because what you’re known for today doesn’t have to define you tomorrow. What do you want to be known for next? Drop it in the comments. ♻️ Reshare to help someone in your network. A recruiter once said I rambled too much. I didn't like the feedback but I appreciated the honesty. How rambling can affect interviews: → Can make you seem unfocused → You might miss the main point → Long-winded answers can bore the interviewer and cause them to disengage 7 strategies I used to cut down the rambling: (and get straight to the point) 1. Cheat Sheets Keep notes handy to jog my memory on certain stories, especially for common interview questions. 2. STAR Storytelling Organize answers using STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to ensure clarity and relevance. 3. Adopt the 'Rule of Three' Limit my points to three when responding. Our brains typically grasp three items most effectively. Example: "Three pivotal experiences that shaped my professional journey were X, Y, and Z..." 4. Embrace the Pause Allow moments of silence between my thoughts, understanding it's OK not to fill every second with words. 5. Minute Mastery Ensure my answers are between 60-90 seconds to stay concise and relevant. 6. Regular Practice Practice by recording myself (I recommend video to see your body language, hand gestures, etc.) 7. Pre-Plan Key Messages Before any interview, I'd identify core attributes or experiences I want the interviewer to remember. Example: For a marketing role, I'd prepare my talk track for 1) Campaign management 2) ROI-driven strategies 3) Cross-channel integration — Once you start doing these, your interview game will change for the better. And remember a detailed answer isn't bad, but it's important to ensure it doesn't become a rambling habit. ♻ Repost to help someone on their next interview And follow me for more posts like this.
ChatGPT still gets all the hype. But I found these 4 tools more useful: 2025 will end up being my best year for… - Revenue - Productivity - LinkedIn Growth And I owe these tools a ton of credit. 🔍 Perplexity: My “Chief Strategy Officer” When I want answers to important questions or need ideas, this is my new “go-to” tool. I like how most of the information comes from reputable or well-known sources. I also use it to get ideas for carousels/infographics and improve my LinkedIn content. https://www.perplexity.ai/ 💼 Substrata: My AI-Powered Dealmaker If you’re trying to close any kind of deal, this is like having your own AI negotiation or sales coach. It plugs into your calls and emails to help you maintain authority in conversations. My recruiting company closed two massive deals last year (both F500 companies) and I used this tool a lot. https://www.substrata.me/ 🎨 Gamma: My Deck Designer I don’t even use PowerPoint or Google Slides anymore. I just prompt Gamma like ChatGPT and it instantly generates a polished, professional-looking deck. You can create a new deck from scratch or upload an ugly PPT deck to give it a makeover. I’ve also been using it to create infographics and carousels. https://gamma.app/ 🧠 Notion AI: My Second Brain Like many, I’ve been a long-time user of Notion. And, honestly, I would sometimes feel overwhelmed when using it, but I like how their AI integration makes it a lot easier to organize my ideas, write faster, and stay on top of projects. I use it for pretty much everything (content calendar, project management, database, etc.) https://lnkd.in/gM4YA2e7 Have you tried any of these? Which one interests you the most?
