Traffic down on two of my bigger sites the last few days beyond the usual fluctuations. Update taking its toll. Meanwhile, Ahrefs shows a record number of KWs in spots #1 to #3. Will stay the course but working on some systems for making content better going forward.
Ethics in SEO is a funny thing, eh? Not okay to share a mega list of sites running a specific ad platform, but fair game to trawl competitors in Ahrefs et al to copy all of their keywords? Niche Site Metrics just speeds up the process you'd be doing anyway!

@emircatliIf you are doing SaaS SEO, learn from SaaS SEO agencies You can learn a lot by just taking a look at their & clients' websites on Ahrefs and spotting common patterns 1. get the agency's URL & a few customers' websites into a spreadsheet 2. put them into Ahrefs batch analysis 3. sort by traffic and analyze their top pages, organic keywords, and PPC campaigns if the agency also helps with PPC campaigns 4. take notes of common patterns & things that you can copy 🏒

Hearing a lot of ppl say tools (like Ahrefs) when you’re just starting out are too expensive. I agree. Here’s how I use to do it for free: 1. Google search - autocomplete to find keywords 2. Google keyword planner - for volume estimate 3. Analyze SERPs for competitiveness

@chris-lever-a4871355If your clients are using Shopify and have decent domain authority. Check now in search console for newly indexed spamming /collections/vendors?q= URLs. I would also advise checking in ahrefs/Majestic to see if spam URLs pointing at your clients sites is increasing.
