Creators (Personal Brand) VS Startups (Professional Brand) 👨‍🔧👩‍🔧 At startups, the feedback loop for understanding if a feature is a success or not, comes through quantitative analysis (measuring product data over a continued period) and qualitative analysis (speaking to 5-6 new customers everyday to understand if the feature is doing what it's supposed to) 👥 How do creators get feedback for their content(features)? 🧠 Quantitatively, it's pretty much the same, tracking data on how the posts/videos/reels/podcasts are performing, for an extended period of time. LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify all have their own data sources for creators to measure how their content(features) is performing 💹 Qualitatively, it's actually pretty interesting. COMMENTS! Comments on posts are actually the fastest way for a creator to qualitatively understand how their audience is recieving their post. Having spoken to creators across platforms, I've understood that many of them draw inspiration of their next content post (feature) from the conversations happening in the comments section. Since it's a 1 person team, the feedback incorporated can be implemented much faster than a startup/organization, and that's probably the reason why some creators grow faster than even big funded teams, since they're so close to their followers (customers) 👥 What is your fastest feedback loop as a creator? #creators #startups #LICreatorAccelerator

How did I escape the “need experience for a job but need a job for experience” paradox? 🧠 I landed my first role in industry, organising influencer campaigns for fashion giants including Motel Rocks just 3 months into the second year of my degree… With NO prior marketing experience. Not even a free online course under my belt. How? I’ll tell ya.
🏦 My CV was full of transferable skills. Job description requires outreach and communication skills? No problem, through my retail roles I was a pro at liaising and persuading customers in my retail roles. Use 👏 what 👏 you’ve 👏 got 👏 📲 I was creating my own experience. Before PLM, I created a little home account for my new apartment on Instagram. Although just 300 followers, I had gained experience scheduling and content creating, copywriting, demonstrated social listening, and so much more! 📨 I made my application about what I can do for THEM. I based my application on my research and understanding of their pain points and positioning against competitors, as opposed to how much I’d love to “get my foot in the door”. The job of the application is to position you as THE solution. I know as a student, recent graduate, or job seeker that finding the path to your dreams feels like an uphill battle… But sometimes it’s a simple case of taking the fight into your own hands, re-mapping, and blazing your own trail 💡 You got this.

Shouldn't LinkedIn come up with features of drafting posts before actually posting them? Just like we have on Instagram!😬 As if we can save in draft if we don't wanna post that content on that particular time or we don't get complete idea for the post!🙄 Here's what happened with me!💁 I wrote a post yesterday night and just saved that, I was about to post that today BUT when I opened LinkedIn that saved post isn't any longer save🥺🥺 LinkedIn LinkedIn for Creators Do look up to this matter!🥺 Komal Ahuja M Ayushi Sanskriti Pandey Aryan Jain I would love to know your views as well!💡 And if anybody has idea, how to save posts DO let me know!👇 #linkedin #linkedinpost

Nowadays, people's reaction on LinkedIn is like it's becoming Facebook & Instagram. Why? Just because creators started sharing pictures over here. But as a creator who wants to build his personal brand, sharing pictures is a great way to connect with the audience. And also the algorithm is pushing it so there's no harm in experimenting. As a creator, we have to adapt it according to the algorithm to be in the game for the long term. And the audience also likes it because they can relate more with that creator. So it's a win-win for all of us: Audience, Creator & Algorithm. Except for trollers 😉 What do you think? P.S. People who troll are hardly active or create content on LinkedIn (Hypocrisy ki bhi seema hoti hai)

Instagram isn’t dead. Your engagement isn’t down. Your reach is. If you’re unhappy with your reach, make reels. If you’re unhappy with your reach, make better content. If you’re unhappy with your “likes and comments”, make content with context. Pictures of your product aren’t enough anymore. Have someone constantly surveying pop culture (not your competitors) and seemlessly infuse that into your content to educate and entertain while spreading your message. Do this for a month THEN take likes + comments + shares + saves and divide by your REACH. Then multiply by 100. Sheesh. Thank you. That is all. #socialmedia #socialemediamarketing

I know Instagram has been on decline. But jeeze its awful now. How could they let it turn into a wasteland of no engagement full of ads and reuploded TikTok’s from people I don’t follow. It use to be such an awesome place to view & share photography . ☠️

As a marketer, what you write is LESS important. The way you present things gets all the attention. For example; Seling 25 rupee product at 15 rupees, what would be more attractive? ☛ 40% OFF ☛ 10 Rupee Discount. Selling a milk product, what would be more attractive? ☛ 90% Fat-Free ☛ 10% Fat  Logically, both options from both examples mean the same thing but are presented in an attractive way. In marketing, the way information is presented to the customers decide the success of the marketing effort. Representing the same thing in a much more acceptable way is called 'Framing'. This is how companies legally twist numbers and sound more acceptable to us.  Do you check how the numbers are being framed? watching Instagram stories is like playing minesweeper except the bombs are seeing something that hurts your feelings

I haven't posted in a few weeks. LinkedIn has kind of sucked lately if I am being honest. On Instagram, the people I follow are friends and family. On TikTok I follow people purely for entertainment. On LinkedIn, every comment and connection is looking to "strike a deal" with me or is wanting to "learn from one another". I get it, LinkedIn is a professional network. I just wish it had a little bit more to it. Maybe we could make it a professional SUPPORT network? Maybe we could make it an educational network? Right now, it feels like a solicitation network. I have made friends off this platform and I don't want those friendships to have an underlying tone of "are we going to do business?" Yeah, I know I use the platform the wrong way but I don't really care. I just like people more than money I guess.

I have a theory that these aesthetic instagram clothing brands say they offer xxl size but they don’t actually offer them. That’s why those larger sizes are always “sold out.”

Instagram’s “Unsend” feature is just the GOAT. Not like all these other apps that would tell everyone what you did
