Easy ways to get founders, CEOs, investors, and creators as ghostwriting clients: • Slide into their DMs • Ask friends for warm intros • Message them on LinkedIn • Find their email online and cold outreach Offer to write for free, first. If they love it, then charge $$$.

Team up with the LinkedIn algorithm. Because both of you have the same goal. Confused? Keep reading. One of the first question my prospects ask me on the discovery calls is about the LinkedIn algorithm. Everyone wants to hack it, tame it, or work their way around it. I say; team up with it. The LinkedIn algorithm wants its users to stay on the platform for as long as possible. And as a good teammate, you help it achieve just that by: - Creating engaging content that stops the reader from switching to another app. - Not posting links to an external website in your posts. - Building conversations in the DMs. Stop trying to wrap your head around the algorithm. Start working with it. ~~~~~ I provide LinkedIn ghostwriting and content strategy services to Founders, CEOs, and CTOs. DM to learn more. (Or just book a call using the Calendly link in the comments. It's much faster!) ~~~~~

You will never get as much "engagement" as me. Okay, who wants to buy my services now? Look, here's the truth about being a ghostwriter who talks about LinkedIn on LinkedIn... Much like talking about Instagram on Instagram. Or talking about TikTok on TikTok... Or talking aboooot blah blah blah... You get it.... It's the one topic that almost everyone on this app can relate to. It's the one topic that can transcend culture. So, of course, if you talk mostly about how to grow on LinkedIn, you are going to get more traction on your posts. But what if you are a tech CEO, a lawyer, an author, a speaker, or some kind of business coach? Your target audience is smaller. It will be harder at the start to build your audience than it was for me. So besides this point, there's also this one. I spend hours a day on the platform. Connecting, commenting, and networking. So does or "did" anyone who's built a great network here. Either that or they scammed the system with pods. BUT you can check the comment section. I get hundreds of comments a day from an engaged audience. You can't hack that. But my point isn't to brag here, the point is, it's not easy to get big engagement, a ton of followers, and a steady flow of inbound leads. Being realistic about this and knowing you will most likely not get the huge reach and follower count that I have will help. --- The good news, though? You don't need a lot of followers or engagement on your posts to sell your services. You just need well-written content, a solid engagement plan, and some strategic outbound efforts. --- #linkedinmarketing #ghostwriting #copywriting #business #alittlebitluke

I’m a LinkedIn ghostwriter. And proud to announce I’ve got my first client: Samuel Cheong He’s been amazing as a client. Read what he said about my ghostwriting: “Samuel has been nailing the tone of voice. He’s saying exactly what I want to say.” “Feels like he read my mind!” Highly recommend. TLDR: I’m a ghostwriter. For me. I’m the client. 👻

To work as a freelancer, I've set myself a few ground rules: 1) The people must know what copywriting and ghostwriting are. If not, move on. I don't waste my time giving them knowledge. 2) The people must have done work with other freelancers. If it's not the same, I move on. 3) I am not accepting less than I pitched, and without full payment, I can't work. 4) The only thing I give for free is a sample. If the job is 5 emails, I write one email subject line and one lead paragraph. If the job is a home page/landing page I write a couple of headlines. I don't know if it's good to say, but that's how I feel creative and comfortable with work. What about you? #freelancers #freelancing

I didn’t know anything about writing when I became a writer. Sixteen years ago, I just knew I loved to write. Or, more accurate, I knew I loved *to have written.* The writing process is actually pretty freaking hard most of the time. I wrote for free until someone paid me a little. I read books and blogs on how to write well. I asked for feedback. I wrote some more. It took me 12 years of grinding before I signed with a “big pub house” agent. If you think about it, there’s a lot of roles we play before we know a lot about them. *Parenting (I thought I knew it all - wrong) *Leadership (I accidentally started my own company in 2020) *Whatever our first job was (I worked at a daycare at 14, which I later found out was illegal due to my age) Before I met with my first ghostwriting client years ago, I literally Googled, “What to ask a ghostwriting client” on my way to the interview. 😳 Experience breeds experience. Be resourceful and figure it out. No one is born a writer. But the good news is … all you have to do to become a writer is to write. And keep writing. #writing #writer #leadership #experience #linkedin #ghostwriting #ghostwriter

3 ways I ghostwrite for agency founders without sacrificing authenticity: 1/ I transcribe all our calls Every call we have, I’ll transcribe it. I’ll have it word for word. That way I can write using your exact tone and style. Down to details like you say gonna instead of going to. Or the way you elongate sentences. Your character shines through - I’m just the magic box. 2/ I write about your unique stories Every client onboards with a 1 hour call. I ask you a series of questions that are designed to tell stories, give insight and show me inside your mind. There’s no such thing as generic content with me writing for you. It’s all unique to you. 3/ We communicate with each other We spend 1 hour every month talking face to face. We talk in Slack channels as often as you like. We send voice notes. I’m not a robot, I’m your partner. - Authenticity is super important, but at the end of the day… I’m your weapon to: 1. Make money 2. Save time 3. Attract talent For YOUR business. A magic box. P.S. If you’re a busy b2b marketing agency founder, apply for my ghostwriting service (link in comments). Let’s work together.
