@anish-v-mathew✍ Do you ever look beyond the 1st page of Google SERP? 🤔 You are missing out if you have not been. I never thought that a day will come when I want to go beyond the first page of Google. However, I have been doing that. Why? ⚡I have learnt that the best articles on a topic are not on the first page anymore, but somewhere hidden in the endless pages beyond. I start at the 5th page, and go from the 50th position to the 1st. Usually, I find terrific articles in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th page. 👉 What has happened to the first page? Almost every article on the first and second pages are copies of or are inspired by the others. I don't know how Google algorithm works, but is pattern matching involved? Google seem to be identifying a pattern about the best result for a topic. It then ranks high only those pages that follow the pattern. 👉 What happens if someone tries to break the pattern? You end up on the 5th page forever until the algorithm identifies your pattern as a better one. The result: 👉 As a buyer or consumer of content, you waste your time reading 20-25 articles that are the same. 👉 As a seller or content creator, you are hesitant to break the existing patterns and try new ways. ✍ How have been your experience with Google as a source of information these days? ✍ What are the changes you wish to happen with Google search? ⚡ What would make a better 1st page of Google: Instead of showing 10-20 results that are similar, Google 1st page results should give preference to articles that give different POVs to the reader about the topic. The value of the Google 1st page will go up tremendously. @schwartzeThe best thing about focusing on the user in your SEO efforts instead of the Google algorithm is that your odds of one day suddenly losing half of your organic traffic are pretty low. I have been there and it’s not fun.

Peter Banerjea
@peterbanerjeaIn the past 12 months, we have outranked Amazon more than 100 times. We have also outranked giant sites like Forbes, Bloomberg, G2Crowd, and the list goes on. However, our clients are startups with a fraction of the content and SEO budgets of these giant sites. So how do we do it? And how can you do the same? Don’t worry, we don’t have any black magic up our sleeves! All we prioritize are two words… Search intent. But what is that? Search intent essentially refers to what people are searching for when they type in a query into Google. For example, if someone types in “how to become the richest person in the world”, they’re clearly looking for the best tips on how to get richer than Elon Musk. But most wannabe Elon Musks won’t type in such specific queries. So SEO professionals have to decipher what people are really looking for. Malte Landwehr, head of SEO at idealo internet GmbH, recently posted two very interesting observations about the May 2022 Google Algorithm update, based on data from SISTRIX . - Google is giving more credence to sites that are specialists rather than generalists - Google is getting better at search intent matching with every update it rolls out And as Kevin Indig mentioned in a recent webinar for Clearscope, hosted by Bernard Huang, search intent is way more nuanced than just categorizing searches as educational and transactional. You have to truly understand what people might be looking for and incorporate different possible search intents in the articles and pages you are trying to rank. So to rank: - Build sites that have authority in specific niches (that's one key to outranking Forbes) - Nail the search intent on every page and article (ALWAYS prioritize what the reader wants - not what you want) Essentially, make your site an authority in one niche and give people clear and comprehensive answers and information on what they are looking for. And watch your traffic soar! Check out the links to Malte’s LinkedIn post and the Clearscope webinar in the comments section. #seo #googleupdates #searchengineoptimization #searchintent

@davidsmith88Marketing has seen some simple days. Back in the early 2000s, meta data was enough to get you those initial joyous sales. Today? It’s a minefield that small businesses can’t navigate all that easily… From mysterious Google algorithms to the glittering lure of Tiktok- how do you start? How do you move on? All I can say with decades of experience is this: ✅ Select no more than one or two channels if you're just starting out ✅ Make sure it's where your clients exist ✅ Then master that one channel And, just because your customers might be on every last channel does not mean you should be too: You'll become a jack of all trades and a master of none.

@andrew-holland-seo15 Steps to deal with any Google algorithm update. 1. Wait a week before you do anything (of course, take a look at the damage just don't obsess or worry). 2. Log in to your search console a week later to assess the damage, and do so by doing a 7-day comparison. 3. Don't panic when you see the issues. 4. Do a page by page analysis of which pages were hit and what search traffic queries you've lost. 5. Next, do a manual serp analysis to see what's replaced you. 6. Look at the results objectively. Look at the word count of the new ranking content, links, SERP structure and compare your content with the new landscape. 7. Next look at your analytics. Did your lost pages add to your conversions? 8. On a page by page analysis, look at how you can improve those pages. Do they need a refresh? Does the content match the query intent? Is the content engaging? 9. Divert budget into improving these pages if they require it, if not, wait it out. 10. Tackle the pages in relation to both traffic potential and also conversion potential. 11. Once the pages are done, publish them with an updated date. 12. Use paid social to promote those pages. 13. Build new links and add internal links to those pages. 14. Send emails out to your lists to promote the new content. 15. In my experience, if your content is great, then you'll bounce back once the algorithm has time to bed in, 90% of the time you'll need to do very little or nothing. But you'll know if your content needs to improve. Bonus step: this is out of everyone's control, so your agency or in-house team might have been doing a great job. You might have great content that gets put down just because of this switch up. Wait it out unless you can make obvious improvements Hope that helps #seo

@mrigp#SEO content isn’t enough. Here’s why: ✔️ you shouldn’t be talking to customers when they’re looking for a solution ✔️ you’ll die trying to rank for definition terms and any top of the funnel content. ✔️ most B2B buying happens through WOM, on Slack communities, social channels, etc. ✔️ ranking for keywords in every niche isn’t feasible- there are better things you could be doing Most importantly, SEO content is often written for the Google algorithms rather than humans. Pick up any topic and see the top 10 results. It almost feels like all of them copied one another. There’s no real time feedback you get from prospects (as used to happen before) And there’s not much you can get out of the exercise unless the topic you’re writing on shows high buying intent (which is usually competitive and better to run ads on) What do you think?

@pm-seo-content-writer-indiaThe biggest problem faced by business owners is "Staying on top of the algorithm changes." Google Algorithm keeps on changing, Till now, we have had 6 Google algorithm changes, And marketers must keep up with all those changes to stay on top. Every time an update comes, how Google sees your web pages changes. Some websites dropped positions on SERP. So the tip to get rid of this kind of situation is, Follow a few websites that keep you updated with the Google algorithm and SEO trends. You can follow Neil Patel's blog for such updates. Chris Zuiker
@chriszuikerWe don't need our domain name - we trust the google algorithm. You are just one algorithm change from your brand becoming invisible in search. Your domain name needs to create an effortless path for your customers to find you.
I cannot control the google algorithm. I CAN control how much I publish. I cannot control the google algorithm. I CAN control how much I publish. I cannot control the google algorithm. I CAN control how much I publish. I cannot control the google algorithm.
If you're nervous around every Google algorithm update, then you're doing something wrong.

@martinmcandrewHappy Friday Everyone! Today I wanted to dicuss the new Google Algorithm. Google is rolling out a new algorithm for it's search engines. Many people, especially people involved in SEO, are concered that this new alogrithm will negativley effect SEO and content written for SEO purposes will be devalued. Although others think that SEO will not be devalued by this update, but rather will need to be a more streamlined practice, connecting humans with humans. Google states that the aim of this update is to: “Tackle content that seems to have been primarily created for ranking well in search engines rather than to help or inform people.” What do you think about Google's new alogrithm update? #digitalmarketing #marketingexperts #datamarketing

@digital-marketing-expert-seoOn-Page SEO Factor: 2. Content quality Search intent is critical, but utilizing it won’t be enough to create “useful and compelling content.” You also need to take care of your content’s quality. Here’s what Google algorithm has to say about what it looks for in content: 👉🏻 Easy to read. 👉🏻 Clearly organized. 👉🏻 Fresh. 👉🏻 Unique. 👉🏻 Aligned with E-A-T guidelines. 👉🏻 Focused on providing essential information to solve a searcher’s problem. ✌🏻 But in practice, you also need to create better content than your competition. ____ 🌟 #digitalamarketing #seo #seocontent #googlealgorithm #websiteranking I post about: Digital Marketing, Freelancing, LinkedIn, and Motivation.
