2 years ago I bought a web development agency. But I don’t know the first thing about: - Web development - Writing code - Web design Because it’s not my job. My job is to manage the agency, bring people together and talk to clients. Do I talk to them about technical things? Sure. But I have to make complex things sound simple. Brutal truth for freelancers: You can spend £1,000 on LinkedIn ads but if your website is bulls**t? It’s £1,000 wasted. There is nothing more disappointing for a customer than clicking through to a terrible website that doesn’t speak to them. P.S.
