There are a lot of different things that you can write about when it comes to marketing and sales on LinkedIn. You can discuss topics such as lead generation, effective sales strategies, and how to use social media for marketing purposes. You can also share case studies and success stories from companies that have utilized these techniques successfully.
Remember: always be sure to provide value and insights that will help your readers improve their own marketing and sales efforts.

@shikhil-sharmaTo founders overthinking about their competition or second guessing their product/marketing: 1. Google Forms was launched in 2008 2. Wufoo was launched in 2006 & exited in 2012 for 35 million 3. Typeform started in 2012 & is at 19 million+ ARR currently Google forms being mostly free would not have caused 35 million exit of Wufoo, Typeform in 2012 should have felt they're entering in a saturated market ruled by giants. Concentrated effort with a laser sharp product focus, with no regard for competition goes a long long way. #startups #founders
A staggering 84% of sales training content is forgotten by the rep after 90 days. Such a small amount sticks. The solution is a cultural one…... In far too many companies training is perceived as something that happens now and again as opposed to something that is deeply engrained in the DNA of the organisation. Remember the training itself is purely the delivery mechanism, to make sure the learning is remembered you have to build a solid structure of constant reinforcement. Start with the managers, make sure they attend the training so they can reinforce at a local level. Up skill them with coaching competencies so they spot skill gaps and coach them in their reps. Use technology so staff can constantly access those learnings after the training has finished. Test, certify and remind reps, that makes it habitual. Build effective processes that encourage the best practice and right behaviours. A guided sales process, strong qualification methodology and competency frameworks. Lastly, do it ALL the time. #SalesTraining #SalesCoaching #SalesEnablement

@swagatammajiDon't make your sales calls sound like an interrogation. Fastest way to kill the deal. Rather, make it sound like a casual conversation. Talk to your prospect like you would talk to your friend. Thoughts?👇 #sales #marketing #digitalmarketing #conversation

Dave Gerhardt
@davegerhardtWhat does it mean to build a media company and not a marketing team? Here’s my take: To me it means be a publisher. Old way: wait for Press or wait for others to write about you. New way: you can be a publisher and create your own PR. Instead of waiting for that home run coverage in the NYT or CNBC give me a podcast + social media and I’m good. But of course, you need something to SAY :)
Katie Mitchell
@katherinesmitchellWant to make GREAT marketing? Then learn how to say no. Here’s why: As Dave Gerhardt said yesterday, “The good stuff takes TIME.” But unfortunately, many marketers don’t have enough time to make their marketing great because they are pulled in a million different directions. They end up spending a little bit of time doing a lot of things. Because their companies have a hard time prioritizing. Kieran Flanagan's recent podcast episode explained that it’s hard for people and companies to prioritize because prioritization is risky. It feels safer to spread your bets across many projects instead of going all in on just a few. It’s also easier to do everything. It doesn’t require having difficult conversations about what NOT to work on. But your marketing is much more likely to fall flat if you try to do it all. You won’t give yourself the chance to create something that’s really great. Remember...it takes TIME to create great marketing. And to make that time you need to prioritize. Which simply starts by saying no. Agree or disagree? Let me know in the comments. 😎 #marketing P.S. I’ve linked Kieran’s podcast episode in the first comment.

Brandon Redlinger
@brandonredlingerBeing a marketing leader doesn’t mean you have all of the right answers. Or have the most creative campaign ideas. Being a marketing leader means you can ask the right questions. It means surrounding yourself with the right people. It means being willing to say you don’t know or you were wrong. It means being willing to do the hard work and grind it out with your team. It means you are committed to other’s success more than your own. It means always doing the right thing, especially when it’s difficult, you’re alone, or when it may be hard for you to swallow at that moment. In the past, a leader was just a boss. Today, they must be partners with their people. #leadership #leader #marketing

@maripaseva💥 Marketing SHOULD BE Part of Product Development💥 Every company knows that marketing is involved in Promotion But marketing is part of the whole marketing mix - Product, Price, Place & Promotion 💯 Which means that marketing is and therefore should be included in the Product Development processes WHY? 🤔 Because Marketing is the element connecting the brand with the market and the customers It is responsible for understanding consumer behavior, the needs and wants of your target group Therefore it's crucial to be included within the development of any product, as it will bring the right customer insights which will turn the product into the SOLUTION the consumers seek 🏆 Also, marketing is directly linked to branding, so in order to create a coherent brand image, all product decisions need to be aligning with the marketing strategy and brand identity 📌 When developing a product, don't make the mistake so many companies do - creating a product without considering marketing or branding. Marketing is and should be part of product development as it is the direct link to your target group that will turn it into paying customers 📌 Follow #mpmarketingpractice for more marketing and branding tips 🙌 #marketing #mpmarketingpractice #productdevelopment
