YouTube Shorts are short-form videos on YouTube that are designed to be easily watched and shared on mobile devices. They are typically 15 seconds or less in length and can be created using the YouTube Shorts camera or by trimming and editing existing videos.
Shorts can also be shared on social media and other platforms using a link or embed code.

@coldemailwizardThe difference between comments on Tik Tok vs. YouTube Shorts is incredible You put one business related video up and Tik Tok will throw it to the maximum quantity of people that become outraged at it AKA the kind of person who cannot conceive of anything wonderful “it’s impossible to make money online” YouTube Shorts delivers to smaller amount of people but more targeted (People actually within your realm) Therefore I’ve found selling B2B offers on YouTube is effective while typically “business opportunity” offers work best on Tik Tok (along with astoundingly massive dose of outrage comments)
Whoa, the US just unveiled a bipartisan bid to ban TikTok. YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels may be about to absolutely explode.

@laraacostar3 platforms: TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts. One word: Repurpose. → Crazy potential with minimum effort. If you already have good short-form vertical content. → Use it to increase your reach on other platforms. ❌ It is not a question of which one is better, 🤩 More of, which ones are helping you drive traffic to your main (often Instagram) Repurpose the same content to all 3 platforms by: → Changing the hook → Editing the length → Add captions Change small details, test out different frameworks! YouTube shorts has been the talk amongst our fav creators like JT Barnett Are you repurposing your content there? ↓

@jtbarnettSubtle reminder to anyone in the business of content. 50,000,000 followers who only support you on a surface level is far less impactful than 50,000 who are ride or die. With platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels offering quick growth, there will be countless examples of enormous creators who can't sell products or congregate meetups, and on the flip, there will be many examples of smaller creators making insane money because of their engaged community. High volume doesn't work without deep connections. Foster those relationships. ❤️😎

@meryoliariasWhen it comes to video content creation for social media… A big question I get: How long should my video be? Here's my take: Even when TikTok is allowing 10 minutes And Instagram 1:30 minutes. I always recommend to keep it 1 min or less. Why? The audience wants brevity and simplicity while on these platforms. And truth be told, the only reason these platforms are trying to change user behavior is to compete with YouTube. While Youtube tries to compete with them (Hi, Youtube shorts!) Are users changing their behavior? Just tell me! Are you watching 10 min videos on TikTok? There's your answer. #socialmedia
i opened youtube shorts on my mums phone, the first vid is my own short and i find out that my mum is subbed to me on youtube 😭😭
Pokemon card YouTube Shorts have gotta be one of the worst things to hit the platform. Majority are carbon copies of each other - a 5 second highlight of somebody finding a rare card matched with hype music. So fleeting and pointless, my feed is littered with them

@denvermcquaidWill YouTube have a short-form revival? How do YouTube shorts and TikTok compare? One of my best buds and super talented content creator, Rodrigo Grossi, gained over 100,000 subscribers in 2-months #content on YouTube simply by reposting his TikToks to YouTube shorts! Of course YouTube is pushing Shorts hard right now as a new(er) form of content on their platform. Is it worth getting in while the iron is hot? Probably! Have you given YouTube shorts a try? Curious what you think! #tiktoktips #youtubeshorts #socialmediamarketer #tiktokforbusiness #denvermcquaid
Lots of news from YouTube today, but one thing that sticks out to me as someone obsessed with the economics of media: If you create normal YouTube videos, you keep 55% of ad revenue, and YouTube gets 45%. For YouTube Shorts, which it is pushing, that is flipped. Creators get 45%.

@gabbygontaTikTok vs. YouTube Shorts...who will come out on top? 📲🥊 Vertical Video on social media is already King 👑...now the question seems to be: Where to post? With 1.5 billion monthly users reported, YouTube is looking pretty attractive for short-form content creators, especially since TikTok's monetization methods are currently far from ideal. BRB, making my own YouTube channel now! 📺 Would you follow your favorite creators over to YouTube? #tiktoktips #youtube #socialmediaagency #originalcontent
YouTube shorts takes patience, I often have people DM me showing me a short with good retention and they'll say "why did this flatline at 2k?!?!?" like bro it's been out for 15 hours, sometimes shorts don't hit immediately.
Confession time ive been watching youtube shorts for like 5 months instead of tiktok and i actually enjoy them

@bmmeijerYouTube Shorts is the new kid in town nobody is talking about. With 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 globally, YouTube Shorts has quickly cemented itself as an effective tool to market advertiser brands, products, and services. Be an early adopter and leverage YouTube Shorts by adding vertical ads to your existing Video for Action and/or Performance Max campaigns. To drive optimal results keep in mind your vertical ad needs to be: ✓ Short (*badum tss*) ✓ Dynamic ✓ Capture attention early ✓ Feature one central message ✓ Lean into the trends
Ish Verduzco
@ishverduzcoIf you're creating TikTok videos, you should repost the best performing ones on IG Reels & YouTube Shorts. Seeing lots of creators get some crazy reach, grow a following, and tap into brand new audiences that they weren't hitting on TikTok.
Youtube really neads a sort by video type for the subscription feed and now channel video pages. I don't like seeing 400 youtube shorts when I'm just looking for regular uploads on someones channel
